Small jobs welcome

"Travis Worthley was a true joy to work with on our backyard patio project. His artistic vision turned the small, hilly & unusable footprint into the envy of the neighborhood. Travisâ attention to detail, dedication and professionalism was top notch. We would hire him again in a heartbeat. A true delight to work with and outstanding results!"

"Excellent work! Above and beyond. They started the work early, and they made sure to consult on our wishes every step of the way. They even added extra details that were not part of the work to be done that made the brick patio more amazing than it already was. Strongly recommend them!"

Customers say: Super punctual

"I can't say enough good things about this landscaper. Eric gave us a reasonable price to edge and spread mulch in some shrub beds. We hired him on the spot. He came back later that day with a helper and truckload of mulch. The job was finished in about two hours. We are very happy with the work he did and would definitely hire him again."

"I love the patio they built . They did a great job and were very considerate and friendly. There was a noise issue with one neighbor so they didn't start work until around 9:00 am. They cleaned up and landscaped after the patio was finished. Joe basically gave me one or two choices of brick pavers. Rudy was the foreman (he had two helpers) who was excellent and kept the job running smoothly."

"Picturesque Incorporated did an amazing job! Highly recommend using them. Mike is honest and completely reasonable in pricing. He will work with you and your budget in order for you to be happy. He put crushed stone under my deck. I came home and everything looked perfect. He even watered my trees. I have called him multiple times for his insight on landscaping projects, i will be using him very soon again for multiple projects. Thank you Mike!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Whether it's better to add a sunroom or a regular room to your home depends on your goals. If you need extra bedrooms, building rooms with four standard walls makes more sense than adding a sunroom. If you don't need extra sleeping areas but would like to expand the living space of your home, a sunroom makes sense.

Aluminum, vinyl, and wood all offer unique benefits for durability and aesthetics.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

A sunroom will add more value to your home than a deck, but with a much higher up-front cost. Depending on its construction and function, a sunroom may be counted as additional living space, while a deck is strictly an outdoor feature. Both will increase your home’s value, but the sunroom will have a much bigger effect.

With proper maintenance, the average life span of a screened-in porch is six to eight years for the screens themselves, but the foundation and structure can last for 50 to 100 years. To keep your screened-in porch in good shape, clean your porch screens regularly, patch holes, re-seal the wood as needed, and address any foundational issues right away.
