J&G Masonry and Lawn Care

We have used them 3 times for different masonry projects and landscape needs. Each time they have been fairly priced and extremely professional in their communication. They also do an exceptional job. We will only use them in the future.

Awesome! Juan came over at the designated time, broke down a quote for us, and started when he said he would. His team was very friendly and professional- on time each day and worked hard in the hot Sun! Beautiful stairs and walkway and they replaced our backyard gate for us. All done very quickly - no surprises. Would definitely hire again!

Excellent work! Above and beyond. They started the work early, and they made sure to consult on our wishes every step of the way. They even added extra details that were not part of the work to be done that made the brick patio more amazing than it already was. Strongly recommend them!

Work was done to specifications and completed the same day. They returned a few days later to remove forms and to fix any issues associated with the lawn's interruption. They did a good job.

Juan was extremely prompt and came out the same day I called. His quote was good and then he added us into his calendar. About three weeks later Juan and his crew showed up as planned. They worked very hard until dusk. It took them 2.5 days to complete this amazing job! I will be referring Juan and his team and will have them back to make my pool patio beautiful! J and G are honest, hard working and professional!

A bit of miscommunication mostly on my part delayed the project by a couple of weeks, but the work was done competently and the guys were very nice and accommodating. We are very happy with the results!

I went out early this morning to get the Sunday paper and a walker passed by, a woman perhaps in her 50’s, who commented on what a “nice pathway.” She went on to tell me that she watched as they were putting it in – as I did, of course. If I could give Juan and his J&G Masonry a higher mark than an A, I absolutely would. First, the finished product is well beyond what I could have imagined, and like the woman this morning it has generated positive comments from passersby and neighbors alike. J&G Masonry was meticulous in its work, a three-day process. They worked hard, with few if any breaks, with a clear goal each day. They were professional and extremely courteous. And the bonus – where they disrupted the earth, they planted seed and now I have a lawn that is far better than the lawn I had before. They were also very reasonably priced. I am happy to recommend Juan and J&G Masonry.

I am absolutely impressed by the work Juan and all of his workers did on my first yard project. They completed a big stone patio project in a matter of two days with workers coming early in the morning and staying until 8:30pm. They also did an area for the grill and a stepping section for when my kids go in the trampoline. Price was RIGHT and I never had to attempt for him to reduce price even as we increased project along the way. The design was stunning and quality was outstanding! Everyone was professional and respectful! I will continue to use these men whenever I need something done and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them to all. You will be impressed!

Juan and his team have, so far, installed a fence and a "dry look" stone wall in our back yard. I did research and checked reviews here and on Angie's List - all good! I ended up choosing them bc they are a "one stop" shop - I didn't want to have to book a bunch of different contractors for what I wanted done. They started on a Monday and were done by Thursday end of day. They are the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They worked from 9am until, literally, the last cast of sunlight. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. I have them booked to come back and do the patio and another fence along the driveway. I'll post a follow up then. all in all they are easy to deal with, efficient, fairly priced, honest, hard working, solid quality, clean, and they do it all - walls, fence, landscaping etc... nice works guys ty! Juan and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with! He contacted us right away to come to our home to give us a quote. Juan was right on time for that meeting, gave us a very fair price for the work and a date when he and his team could begin. He was available by phone/text for any questions we had and stayed in touch in the few weeks leading up to the start of the project. During the week they were working on our walkway and steps, Juan and team were always on time, working hard, and communicating with us whenever we had questions or comments. They finished the project in a very timely manner and did an incredible job on the walkway and steps. I would highly recommend hiring J&G for any masonry project you need. A reliable, fair priced company that does fantastic work!

Fantastic! Juan came out right away and gave me a fair and reasonable quote. Although he was busy and was unable to do the work right away, he scheduled me in about one month later. He came in and did a BEAUTIFUL job. He picked out the stones for the walkway and it looks gorgeous--a real craftsman. The next day his crew came back for the smaller repair needed in my driveway concrete. He was just terrific and I would not hesitate to either hire him again or recommend him to anyone.

We had an awful backyard design and patio before -- they came in, ripped out the old patio and installed a gorgeous new paver patio. The design is beautiful, a nice curved walkway leading to a 14'x14' patio. They were also able to get rid of the loose stones on the side of my house and poured concrete so that I'm not constantly getting rocks on my driveway. They were reasonably priced, trustworthy, and did quality work. Would definitely recommend!!

I contacted J&G on April 1st. They came out to do an estimate on the 2nd, and completed the work on the 3rd – extremely responsive and efficient. The job involved repointing two sets of brick front steps for a duplex townhouse and replacing a section of damaged wood fence. The new fence looks beautiful, and the steps (which had crumbled very badly before) are in good shape now. Although the work was done quickly, they took care over it and left the area clean and tidy. I would definitely hire these guys again, and recommend them to others, for repair/replacement of any brickwork, fencing, concrete or stonework in the yard.

He was friendly and did a great job on the repairs of the stairs. Very fair price and look brand new. Almost every step (about 10) needed patching or complete replacement. Someone actually walked on the steps while they were setting and they even offered to come back to repair the new damage. Will definitely use them again.

The job was done professionally and promptly. They are responsive and offer quality work. I would hire again.

Did a great job, quick and looks great

Absolutely wonderful! Juan came out on a holiday to look at the project and quote a price. He started the project that week and my stairs are beautiful! He and his crew do excellent work, paying attention to the smallest details! I would highly recommend J&G Masonry - the craftsmanship is outstanding! Juan is a pleasure to work with and kept me informed all along the way.

What hard workers! Really care about their work and aim to please. They installed a new concrete walk and step. They added a boulder retaining wall and a stone step leading to my sunken patio. They re-poured a area in front of my garage that was in terrible shape with cracks and pooling. They even installed a few patio blocks under a fence gate I was trying to put in myself. It was my pleasure to have them work on this project and I hope to have them again.

We had our existing poured concrete patio expanded by another 450SqFt or so. Juan and his crew were professional, hardworking, and punctual. The project went off without a hitch at a totally reasonable price. We changed the size of the patio at the last moment - It was no problem at all and resulted in a totally reasonable adjustment to the price. They managed to do the whole patio in one day with a minimum of hassle. The clean up after the fact was great too. I have zero complaints and I will hire them again in an instant.

J & G Masonry did a fantastic job in restoring my patios. The work required that the flagstone be removed, reset and grouted. After the work had begun Juan, the owner, informed me that the job was more complex than they anticipated. Once the flagstone was removed they discovered that the cement base needed to be repaired. This repair was outside of the original scope of work. Juan charges me a fair price for the additional work. I am a very satisfied customer and would hire this firm again without reservation.
