"On 10.23.23 I hired Shamrock Chimney, address, 3 Mountain St. E, Worcester, MA, 01606, telephone: 508.433.0609, to clean my chimney; upon inspection of the chimney, I was told that the cement crown was damaged and needed replacement, as well as resetting loose bricks at the top of the chimney. The total cost for this work was $1,500.00. This work came with a Lifetime warranty on the 2 steel rain caps, and a 5-year warranty on the masonry. On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. "Needed my dryer vent cleaned. When Ned called I explained to him that I had two 90 degree angles. He assured me he had all the equipment needed to handle this job. When the two men arrived my husband showed them a picture of the two angles in the vent. One guy didn't speak english and walked away. Didn't even want to look at the picture. The other guy who spoke limited english just told us to call his boss. We told him his boss had already assured us they could do the job. Now for all the equipment they brought - a generator that they couldn't even get started. We have an outlet out back and told them to use it. They then just put a small hose in the vent which was blowing air. I was in the closet with the dryer and could hear the hose as it came in. It stopped at the first angle and couldn't bend to go any further. They then left. I was also told that they would bag up any lint that came out on the lawn. Big surprise - there wasn't any. My vent is still clogged."
