Tafari was great. Taped plastic sheeting to keep area clean and took apart elements to clean from the inside. Excellent work done efficiently.

We found Residential Hood Cleaning on Angi. Our range hood was very challenging for us to clean as it is in a difficult spot to reach. Tafari is the owner of this independent one-person business, and when we called he did not hesitate to take the job, even though our home is over 50 miles from his place of business. He arrived promptly and went right to work. We were amazed at how thorough of a job he did, reaching far up the hood and removing all of the accumulated grease. He is a most pleasant and courteous person, and an experienced technician, who has had his business for 8 years, and worked for another commercial hood cleaning company for eight years before that. We are very appreciative of his work and would recommend him to anyone needing their home exhaust hood cleaned; his is one of the very few companies that I could find that specializes in cleaning residential range hoods.

The hood was never cleaned, it continued to drip grease since the day he did the work and he has not responded to me to rectify the situation. I have been nothing but polite and patient.

I did not feel that he did a thorough job and the rate for the time spent was outrageous. He is very polite and professional but he does not explain what he is going to do and products used. Superficially it looks clean but I do not think the inside was done as it should be.

We had our Viking stove and oven deep cleaned by All Hood Cleaning. We are quite happy with the results. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Cleaned underneath the hood. Not the outside. Left residue on range surface and tile back-splash. Job took a total of 45 minutes yet I was told it was "worse than they thought". Charged an additional $50 for a total of $400. Spoke to his boss who was an arrogant phony running his carnival barker scam on me. Would never recommend this company which by the way has 2 or 3 different names.

We liked the service. Shawn did a good job cleaning our kitchen hood and dryer vents. But it was a very expensive service. The whole job was completed in one and a half hours and we paid $500. There is no material cost involved or any deep technical expertise. Update 3/30/20 - Received a text message from Shawn regarding this review and he was not polite. I hope he does a better job pricing his jobs going forward and treat his customers properly.

Shawn finished a 3-day project in 2 days. He accommodated each resident's schedule (8 units total) without hesitation. He was respectful of all living spaces, which, unfortunately, is not always the case with contractors. It's clear to me that Shawn has been in the business a long time; he excels at both the interpersonal and technical demands of the job. I would recommend Shawn to anyone in need of hood cleaning.
