"The company showed up on time, gave me a quote we agreed upon and set a date for Tuesday 10/7. Today he was supposed to visit my home to stake out the job for Dig Safeget his 50% deposit. Knowing that I was scheduled for the work to be done, I ripped out 500sf of lawn out to prep for part of the work. Today he was a no show no call for our scheduled visit that he agreed upon. He only responded after I had sent a text to find out where he was. This is what I got: ?Sorry had a guy from NH call saying he wanted 12 acres cleared went there and he paid 45,000 on the spot so where here for the next 4 weeks. It may be to late by than in the season. And like I said before its who gives me deposit first gets locked in for next available date.? This guy didn?t think I was even important enough to contact me and let me know; as for the deposit process he noted it?s a bold faced lie it was never discussed.

After posting my experience online review about my dissatisfaction with the work and job not being completed.
We both agreed to stop the work (after one year)and Rich to send me a total of 5,000 for broken stone stairs and incomplete work.
A check was sent by Rich for the additional 2,500 after my first review was posted online in September this year.
Funny how that works.
I also noticed that another customer had hired Rich to performed some work. Then like me Rich hired another mason to perform the work without ever finishing the job.
Just like the other review Rich said he fired that person. Same story Rich told me. See a patten here, that odd or a common practice?
Gave one additional star to my first review due to Rich Peavey sending the second check for 2,500."

A month after I filed a chargeback, the GM called to "apologize", and made it sound like he wouldnt contest the chargeback, but offered no remedy to the situation. He then contested the chargeback and lied on the chargeback rebuttal. Eventually they settled for a partial refund. Terrible company, dont recommend."
