"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Superior Property Management Semper Fi exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and truly committed to quality. Communication was clear, timelines were honored, and every detail was handled with care. In addition to lawn care and maintenance, this company has handled other projects for me as well: yard clean-up, arbor/pergola restoration, power washing, home and property improvements. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, integrity, and genuine customer service, but Superior Property Management Semper Fi delivers all three. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will absolutely use them again for future projects. Highly recommend!"

"Jason, his brother, and team did a great job of removing English ivy and shrubbery that had grown out of control in my yards Using equipment, they made swift work of the removal, added screened top soil, and reseeded with a good quality seed that began growing within a week (with rain and watering). I highly recommend this company for landscaping work."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Mowing is one of the most important ways to maintain your lawn because it encourages grass to grow horizontally, creating a fuller, more uniform yard. On top of mowing your lawn, you’ll want to routinely fertilize your lawn, water it regularly, and take care of pests the moment they arise.

Water the lawn thoroughly, apply fertilizer, and overseed if necessary to promote healthy growth.

Yellow leaves and stems on your sprouts indicate they’re not getting enough light. Keep them near the appropriate light source and give them as much as they need (they require longer exposure to fluorescence than they do to natural light sources).

Ultimately, pulling weeds vs. spraying them depends on what’s happening in your yard and your personal preferences. Manual weed removal doesn’t introduce any chemicals into your landscape, targets specific problematic plants, produces immediate results, can be free if you go the DIY route, and is inexpensive with a weed service if you only have a handful of weeds. On the other hand, spraying is often preferable for severe weed infestations and situations involving difficult-to-pull weeds because it treats multiple weeds at once, is usually more effective long-term, is less time-consuming, and costs less when done by a pro.

Landscaping fabric can only help to prevent weed growth in the short term. It's not an ideal long-term solution because dirt will eventually make its way on top of it, causing weeds to sprout. These fabrics can also leave microplastics in the environment for many, many years, so pulling weeds using one of the methods in this guide as soon as you see them is a better long-term prevention strategy.
