He gave us a "free" estimate for chimney caps at that time and charged us close to $200 (which seemed high for critter removal that didn't take very long and didn't seem very dangerous). We decided to get the chimney caps and dormer seals because this was the second time in 10 years that a bird had gotten trapped in one of our two chimneys.
