"I had an emergency generator installed and one of the installers did not Install the gas line properly. After some calls and some back and forth, I get a call from customer service manager and she got someone out and took care of it family fast. The leak was still there and when they came out the second time discovered it was a new leak from the gas company changing out my meter. So the second leak was not the fault of this company. Their work on the generator and install was good, the customer service could use a bit of tweeking but overall I would definitely recommend."
"I am truly impressed with the quality and professionalism of BN Electric! I received immediate phone and email responses to my initial Service Magic request...and an appointment was conveniently set up for the next day (a Saturday!). All work was not only fully explained and completed cleanly and efficiently, but with true pride in a job done right! Butch and Chris were very friendly and stuck to the original quote even though the job required a bit of extra unexpected work. I will definitely be using their services in the future and will recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services! Thank you, Butch!"
"The electrician was professional and on time and readily figured out and repaired the problem which had been going on for several years. I’ve already asked him about installing some outside lights for me. He is likable, trustworthy and did a great job."

While the rating will tell you how many watts the refrigerator needs at the peak of its cycle, it requires additional wattage to start. At the bare minimum, you’ll need a 1,500-watt generator to get the fridge up and running after a blackout. A 2,000-watt generator should be sufficient for most home refrigerators.
A home that is 2,500 square feet will likely need a 20kW to 25kW generator. Consult your local generator installer to confirm the generator size needed to power your home before purchasing a new one. Be sure to consider how much power your necessary devices need to run.
As a safety measure, you should always turn off the main breaker while operating your generator’s backup breaker. In addition, you should also switch off all appliance breakers so you don't have a power surge when the main breaker turns back on. And finally, turning off the main breaker prevents back-feeding, which endangers utility workers with the risk of electrocution. Back-feeding could also destroy the electrical circuits of your neighbors if they use the same power network.
Costs depend on generator type, labor, and additional wiring or transfer switch requirements.
