"Took down my 55+ foot tree in June 2020 in a residential area on a one way street with power lines on three sides. Brought in a lot of equipment including a crane and flatbed tow to haul out the tree trunk, Rob and his crew were very careful--nothing got damaged. "Michael, who operates Landscaping and Tree Service Pros LLC is a very pleasant person and who is very knowledgeable about this business. I had two trees to take care of. After I submitted my request for a quote through the Angi app, Michael called me and asked for any pictures that I had. After I sent five pictures he called back and gave me his quote, which was reasonable for the job to be done. Because of the poor weather conditions he had to call to adjust the work schedule but within five days he called and was on his way to do our work. Pruning a tree is a yearly DIY job that involves removing small dead branches, leaves, and blooms to help the tree grow bigger and stronger. You can often complete the job with basic home gardening tools. Trimming a tree, however, removes larger sections to control the direction the tree grows in and protects your home, utility wires, and yard from potentially dangerous branches.

Generally, if your neighbor’s tree hangs over your yard, you can legally trim overhanging branches. Keep in mind that you cannot cross your property line to cut the trees, and if you damage the tree by trimming it, your neighbor could sue you. Depending on the type of tree and value, this could mean dishing out two to three times the value of the tree.

It is possible to burn out a tree stump if it is dried out and in an area of your property with a large buffer. Drill holes in the stump and dig around the base so it burns more easily. Then, build a small campfire on top using kindling and firewood. You’ll need enough to keep the fire going for many hours to completely burn out the stump, especially if it’s large.
