It's amazing. We have a 100 year old house, with a very small bathroom. The plan was to push the wall back 3 feet taking space from the walk-in closet/integral bedroom behind it. This also involved moving the attic access which was in that space. From quote to demolition to finished product - everything went very well. Even when we ran into other issues, everything was taken care of. Communication was great. Phone calls and emails were answered in a timely manner. Every morning, the guys would show up at 7 am (punctual) and meet with me to tell me what was planned for that day, and then I would leave for work. When my husband got home at 3:30, they would talk to him, telling him of any issues. Every day it was cleaned up before they would leave. As this is our only bathroom, Matt and the crew worked with us to make sure we at least could use the toilet through the entire project. The entire room was demolished, wall removed, fixtures gone, and all the old plaster taken away. Attic access was covered over and moved to another room. Pocket door installed giving me way more room. New wiring, new plumbing (correcting an existing problem with drainage) and ceramic tile floor and shower/tub ceramic tile were installed. They even did a great job matching the woodwork in the new bathroom to the existing house, making it look great!! The stain matches and everything. We are very pleased with the finished product (even my husband who didn't see why we needed it in the first place). There were errors in scheduling that ended up with an entire day of no work being done. There was poor scheduling, the plumber and the electrician had entire days to do work, and only took half, so 1/2 days were wasted. the entire project was scheduled to take 2 weeks, it took 4.because of the delay, the crew was in a hurry to get to their next project, so the quality of the finishing touches suffered.the tile in the bathroom is very poorly installed, the surface is uneven, and the grout lines do not line up, and are not the same sizes ( on floor and shower).the kitchen backsplash was very quickly and poorly done, like the bathroom the tile is uneven with badly done grout (I actually had to fill in grout that was missing in places).I had to call the company back in to seal the fixtures in the shower, as the tub faucet was loose, and water was getting behind it.there was no sealant around the backsplash either.One year later (after the warranty had run out) I called the company about the leaking toilet. I was told it was out of warranty but they could send their plumber to fix it. I declined and had a reputable company repair the problem (loose screw which allowed water to leak when flushed). they did clean up after themselves well each day, and took care not to damage the hardwood floors in the rest of the house.Overall the construction appears solid, but the lack of care the company showed for the quality of their work and for my time in particular is why I would not recommend anyone use this company for major work. Update - the plumber I hired to fix the leaky toilet informed me that it was installed incorrectly. either a flange extension should have been used, or the line to the stack updated. We should have known that after waiting a half hour at the tile/carpet center without being acknowledged, that we should have gone elsewhere. After complaining at the service desk, a manager came back to take our order. A subcontractor came out within a few days to measure and report back to Lowe's who then gave us the estimate. We agreed and signed the contract and paid in full (another mistake!) The contractor was several hours late the first three days. Our son was home on military leave on the fourth day and said that they came late again and reeked of marijuana. A week later, they had broken our toilet, broken our sink and had still not finished the work. They decided, without talking to me, to break down all the plaster and replace it with drywall. They also told me that they would throw in a ceiling exhaust fan for free. One day they declared they were finished. When I came home from work, I found that the tub was ruined, the toilet (the new one we bought to replace the one they broke) was on the back porch and the sink was on the kitchen floor. The entire house was coated with very thick dust. The tile in the bathroom was raggedly cut with huge gaps and also many overlaps. I called the manager of the store to come and look at the work the next morning. The first words out of his mouth when I stepped aside to let him in the bathroom, were an epithet. He took pictures and swore that Lowe's would make it right. Six weeks later, we had all new tile, laid better than the prior job, but less than well done, a new and much smaller tub, and a toilet and sink that we had to call and ask to have it reinstalled. We had to call Lowe's to have the contractor remove the trash that was left in the middle of our front yard and the broken old bathtub that was left in the middle of our driveway for nearly a week. One year later, the ceiling fan is still not hooked up, there is still a large hole in the unfinished wallboard, and the bathtub drain does not hold water, nor were the towel racks installed that the original subcontractor agreed to do. It should be noted that we only have the one bathroom. As luck would have it my parents live next door and we were able to use their bathroom, but eight weeks of that was completely unacceptable. After numerous complaints, Lowe's sent a $150.00 give card \"for our trouble\" which we gave to my parents because of their inconvenience in letting us use their bathroom."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/pa/tarentum/lowe%27s-reviews-247332.htm"},"position":10}]}

Jason was absolutely fabulous. Fix the toilet and when I spoke about an issue I was having with the bathtub he also fix that. Matt Mertz is the only call I will ever make for plumbing and anything else they do.

"We hired Carmen to finish our basement in our house and we gave him just skeleton ideas of what we wanted. I'm glad we let him run with it because we couldn't be happier. Carmen is incredibly professional, talented and creative. I think what's not often talked about with contractors is how they treat their clients and Carmen is the most personable guy we've ever worked with. He was always cognizant of us working from home and was always accessible for questions both before, during and now after the job. We look forward to him doing our master bath next. We wouldn't hire anyone else to do kitchen, bath or basement work. Can't say much other than the completed job is above and beyond what we expected!"

We specialize in creating custom cabinet and countertop solutions for your kitchen, bath or any other part of your home.
"I started working with Jim Seibert of Trademark Cabinet Company this summer in preparation for a significant kitchen overhaul in my townhouse. From the beginning, he was open to my questions and preferences, and helped me plan and design cabinets to fit in the existing footprint but far surpassed the functionality of my 1980s cabinets. When it came time to do the demo in October, he and his crew were both friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I watched them repeatedly do calm and focused problem-solving on the fly, and they finished earlier than we expected. Then when they brought the gorgeous cabinets we chose, they were meticulous in their installation and gracious as I watched the whole process from my spot on the stairs. The finished product was superb, the price very competitive, and I only have compliments for their work."

PA055967-James A. Munion had a start just like anyone else, at the very bottom. He swept up the work shop for a company called Dotson brothers when he was only 12 years old. Mr. Dotson said to James A.: “I actually can’t believe that you moved the glue buckets out of the way to sweep in the corners. The last kid we had never took the time to do that.” From that day forward, James had a permanent place at Dotson Brothers. He quickly moved on to shop hand, and was allowed to help create the laminate counter tops the company made. After only a short amount of time, Mr. Dotson had trusted Jim with crafting them on his own. Jim took to it with excellent initiative. However, after an extended amount of time creating counter tops, it was time to move on with his career… James’ grandmother owned a two car garage she rented out for tenants. The day he said he was going to start his own business, she, (politely as an italian-broken-english-speaking grandmother could,) kicked out the two tenants immediately and gave him his work shop. Since that very day, we have been running the business out of that very same two car garage. We have been family owned and operated since we turned the power on in the shop, in 1978.
