We were incredibly impressed with his expertise and professionalism. While we entertained a few other deck contractors, Mike was the by far the best choice. After signing our contract with him, his work validated our decision. He created detailed blueprints (to scale!), adjusted his plans when our needs slightly changed and had a keen eye for the aesthetics of decking colors and how they would work with our home. Once the construction started, Mike set up a very reasonable payment schedule based on task completion and kept us updated daily on his next steps. After the deck was completed, we knew that it not only looked amazing but also well built. His crew was always courteous and professional. Rick, the Project Manager, and Todd, Chuck, Shawn and Jack, the service techs who worked on the deck, were excellent, very professional and neat, cleaning up every day. When I started talking with Rick about this project, I thought it wasn't going to possible for me to have everything taken care of in one undertaking. I must admit that cost was the major stumbling block. The deck is large and lumber/material costs took my breath away. "Jack was professional and thorough. He was enthusiastic and detail oriented when it came to power washing and removing old paint from our deck. And he responded quickly to phone calls and worked with our schedule, and the weather, to get the job done quickly. When refinishing the deck, he found a few places that needed to be repaired, and he fixed them after consulting with me, for a small additional price. After the job was done, he came back to touch up a few places on the railings (which he also had stained) that were in hard to reach locations. I would use him again and highly recommend him."

"Excellent ... Robert promptly came over and provided a reasonable quote to plaster the kitchen ceiling due to an upstairs bathroom leak that resulted in the plumbers knocking it out. Since this is an older home the plaster needed to have a swirl pattern. I also mentioned painting was needed for the fix and Robert brought in his son who does painting. After discussions, I decided to also have the kitchen walls, chair rails, baseboards, and basement stair walls painted. This price too was reasonable. An appointment was made for a week later for the plaster work and the painting a week after that. Robert and his son and the 2 helpers finished the job promptly and professionally. The plaster with the swirl pattern blended in with the rest of the kitchen ceiling nicely."

When inspecting my roof Zach mentioned that my front porch roof was dipping in from deteriorated decking. Since the roof was already close to end of life he repaired the decking, replaced the roof and flashing, and added new gutters. His crew was extremely professional and completed the job quickly."

They had to move the furniture off my deck and some woodworking equipment from my workshop all went well.
