"Great again, hired them back two weeks after they came do yardwork and land clearing they put up my fence, row my entire property, a chain-link and salt a chain-link gate at the front of the property so people couldn’t use my driveway as a U-turn put an electric gate opener on there and they came out perfect I will be using them in the future and from now on they are my go to company"

A setback is an area of space between your fence and the property line, meaning you build a fence a few inches before your neighbor’s property begins. If you have the time and the budget, we strongly recommend staining your fence, especially if it's looking a bit tired or hasn't been treated recently. While you may not see the same return on investment (ROI) as you would with a project like a kitchen remodel, staining a fence is one of the best ways to add a facelift to your property—a new fence stain adds serious curb appeal to your home. 

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

Green branches are more flexible and easier to work with, but they'll shrink as they dry, which can loosen your fence weave over time—so you'll need to weave them extra tight to account for shrinkage. Some species, particularly willow, may also try to sprout when used green. For these reasons, it’s typically easiest to use branches that have dried for a week or two.

The cheapest fence to install is likely to be a wire fence, whether it’s hog wire or chicken wire. Closely following that is something repurposed that would be free to collect, like a DIY pallet fence. Most wire fences are available in large quantities at a low cost, so they’re great for homes with a tight budget.
