"The Sandfree (of Wexford, PA) crew removed old damaged vinyl sheet flooring in my kitchen and replaced it with tongue and groove vinyl planks that I had purchased at Home Depot. They also replaced old vinyl cove strips with nice wood molding for a modern, updated look. The job was done quickly and efficiently with excellent cleanup at roughly $10 per square foot for labor. I recommend them for any vinyl floor replacement."

Linoleum floors have color that goes all the way through the tile, while vinyl flooring uses a printed image on the surface of the tile, plank, or sheet. This image often realistically replicates the look and feel of wood, ceramic tile, stone, or other natural materials.

A 65-oz. carpet is good, and in many cases, it indicates a premium carpet. Most carpets for homes should fall in the range of 40 to 60 ounces for face weight. If a carpet has a 65-oz. face weight, it is likely more durable and long-lasting than a similar carpet with a lower face weight. Carpet face weight is just one factor in determining a carpet’s quality. 

No subflooring is perfectly level, but you should never ignore any noticeable floor sagging. Most contractors deem a floor that slopes by a 1/2 inch to 1 inch per 20 feet of floor acceptable. Further investigation is required when the slope or sag is more than one and a half inches.
