"We are surprised to have received this poor of a review from this customer. He stated at the initial consultation he was told that the floors would be installed the same direction of the existing floors. This it not true, as I told him I could not tell him that until we pulled the carpet up to see which way the floor joists went, which you can tell by the nail pattern. As far as our conversation on the phone about this yes we talked for several minutes about it. After the customer kept insisting I install it improperly I became firm with him and told him we would not install it improperly and if he insisted that it be done wrong I would walk away from the job. Our company does things the right way and follow the guidelines set by The National Hardwood Flooring Association. If we installed it improperly we would be liable for the floor if it failed and we were not willing to do that. He then stated it was okay that we install it the right way and when I sent him the picture after we did it the customer stated it came out better than he thought it would. As far as the marks on the basement floor, we only went down there to plug into the power. We never took any stain cans or polyurethane cans down there so not sure where those marks came from. The customer even spoke to us about leveling the basement floor and I told him that the amount of leveling he would need was beyond our expertise and referred him to someone who could help him. We take utmost care but some stain must have dripped on the stair to the basement. The customer is correct in while we were at the job we did keep in touch with him about his job and I did answer his call even when we completed the job. The reason we are surprised with this review is that he never contacted us that he was unhappy with anything. I wish the customer would have called us before writing this review to give us the opportunity to address his concerns as we take pride in our work and having our customers happy with the results as we provide a 1 year warranty on our work."

"I am sorry that I missed this appointment. Sometimes I am driving when I get calls for appointments while I am driving and write it down on my notebook then I put it on my calendar later in the day. It was an oversight and I missed it and I apologize for that. If you would of called me when I didn't show I would of come and given you a discount for my mistake and the inconvenience. Again I apologize as we do our best to have great customer service."

"Sorry that we did not meet his expectations. This work was completed in December and the is the first we have heard of his dissatisfaction. The floors did have there challenges. As a matter of fact, after pulling up the carpet, I called the customer in and recommended that they either cover them back up with carpet, which is something we do not do, or put in a new floor because they were in such poor condition. Some of the blotches are due to pet stains which we did our best to sand out. Having said this, if he was so unhappy I am not sure why he had us come back to do an additional room."
