"Ehhh. Most of the job they completed seems fine. We have not had any major issues yet. There is still one smaller issue they have yet to resolve. I reached out and the owner said he would let us know when they could send someone but it has been several weeks now and we have not heard from them. The biggest issue has been communication, which is awful! When we initially met with with owner, he seemed great. He was down to earth and explained things well. After they started there was zero communication. We had no idea what was going on. Suddenly they stopped coming. They did not tell us they were done or explain anything about the new sump pump they installed. We were avoiding parts of the house they had closed off and we were keeping our animals locked in rooms for a few days without them showing. I had to call the owner to find out what happened. The workers also somehow got access to my garage through a code which we had never used and did not know. I personally saw someone get into my house that way instead using the front door. When I asked the owner about it, he basically called me a liar. So again although the job seems fine, the experience was not a good one. I would not use them again."

"Two professional installers. Done in one day.  If only one person had been there for the install it would have been a 2.5 day job. With two people the job was completed in one day. I bought their recommended Amana furnace/AC. They were personable and interacted well when I had questions. If one person had been there it would have been a 2.5 day job. The unit worked the first time they turned it on and is a significant improvement. At the end of the job they thoroughly cleaned the area. And no up front money which indicated a well run business.
I had been told about other people who installed furnaces but I am confident that they were horror stories waiting to happen. This job required experienced workers. I may have paid more, but I may have ended up with a low quality (cheaper) unit as well as delays while the installer dealt with personal issues or disappeared.
This is the third time I have used Giant and each instance was totally satisfactory.

"It went well, Don and Jackie ordered the material I specified, scheduled promptly when the material arrived, showed up a little early, worked diligently until the work was done, about 3 hours, cleaned up, and was gone. It was a stress free project.
It is extremely important to mention that they did this, including changing some of the rough plumbing, without damaging my walls. I mention this because another plumber, who had a higher price, had stated he couldn't do the job without damaging the walls. The access panel didn't change between the two plumbers, just the willingness to put forth the effort to do a professional job. I would definitely engage Don again. This is one trade for which I no longer have the need to shop, Don will get all my plumbing work.
