CJ the technician was awesome!

I had a garage door that was stuck in the closed position and was not able to be opened even in manual mode. It took a little time to figure out exactly what was keeping the garage door stuck, eventually we discovered that the garage door might have been stuck under the top door jamb. In manual mode, the technician wasn't able to get the door open pulling up from the bottom. Next he grabbed the top panel and pulled the garage door open from the top and it opened right up. We tested the door several times after it opened and it ran normally. We couldn't duplicate the problem again, and we weren't exactly sure what exactly caused it. According to the website, and customer service chat, the company offers free estimates and no trip charges. Since there really wasn't anything to fix/replace/repair, the technician provided me an estimate to lube and check the hinges and track @ $400, which I thought was pretty steep, there was an estimate to replace the garage opener @ $1500, which I thought was reasonable. He charged $185 for getting the garage door open, which I found kind of steep. Service was great, he was friendly, he did get the garage door open, but I felt the pricing was a little all over the place, and he was trying to sell me things that I didn't really need fixed, like a new garage opener and a new garage door panel. They were very prompt, communitive, and on time.

The quality of the door and their work was excellent. The was a lot of confusion about when they would come. But one person arrived the following morning and removed the old door and installed the new one by himself. All the people who came for the estimates and the installation were knowledgeable and friendly.

The tech was delayed on a prior job but called to let me know... but then showed up exactly as promised at the newly agreed upon time. Work was quick and now I have a new garage door motor that works perfectly (and quietly). I'm very pleased with Precision!

Agreed on a price, when installation started, they added some wires and WD40. The final cost was 200% higher than the original estimate!

Beautiful but not because of renew home Improvements! Fuckers charge astronomical more than they paid the people who did the actual work. I have no bones to pick with working people. My bones to pick are with pencil pushing ass holes.

Incomplete job. Left my garage broken open for anybody to break in. Promised they would come the next day to finish the job and did not come. Has not answered any messages and now I will probably have to hire a new person to finish the job. Edit: The technician contacted me later the day I wrote this, and apologized for failing to show up, and agreed to come the following morning. He arrived promptly and completed the job. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. The job was performed to my satisfaction, and the quality of the materials used was quite good. I cannot leave a glowing review, because I was made to sign saying I was satisfied with the job, and pay for the job, assuming that he'd be there the following day to ensure that was the case. I was left thinking I had no recourse since I had signed saying I was satisfied. I would recommend in the future, that technicians evaluate the scope of the project and fully troubleshoot all components to ensure that there are no surprises at the last minute, as this puts the customer in a difficult position. Overall the technician was helpful and quick and did a good job. I am satisfied with the work done.

Very professional. The whole procedure took about an hour, including cleanup. Very happy with the whole process.
