"Needed assistance with removal of an unstable 50 foot wood fence. Adian reached out to me literally within minutes of my request and I had an estimate within an hour (on a Sunday). The cost was very reasonable. Adian kept me updated on his arrival time and the project was completed with no issues. He was very professional and I will be obtaining a quote from him to replace the fence."

"Brad and his team delivered us the deck of our dreams. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are unmatched. We had several quotes and referrals from multiple companies and Decks, Decks, Decks came out on top and for great reason. Al was our master craftsman on the deck construction and he is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word. The deck is very sound and constructed well. He would pay close attention to make sure every aspect of the construction was done with completeness and precision. I could not recommend Decks, Decks, Decks more!"

"I got in touch with Phillip, and he came very quickly to estimate the job. He was able to do the job within a week, and it took less than 2 days. The job involved removing an old split-rail fence (12 posts), carting away the debris, and then replacing it with a fence of 8 posts. The work is excellent, and the workers very courteous. I would use this company again without hesitation."

"Came to my residence, took measurements, contacted a metal fabricator to who also came to my residence to review the work needed ,made the door from aluminum and installed it. O'Dell contracting called me to follow up and tell me when job would be completed. This is a reliable contractor who kept in contact to let me know the date it would be installed. After the job was completed he contacted me to ask if the work was satisfactory.I would recommend this contractor for any home remodeling. He is to be graded as an A-1 Contractor."

"This job was a repeat performance for Kevin Lodge, owner of Updates Unlimited.  Earlier in the year, he completed a much larger project for me in updating my parents' home in Fort Worth.  Based on that stellar experience, I did not hesitate to call Kevin and was pleased he could get to this project about a week after I called him.

He removed dated, damaged wood paneling from the walls in a large den.  He suggested applying a Tuscan texture which turned out great!  He removed all the baseboards, painted them and re-installed them.  He painted all the wood trim in the room as well as a built-in bookcase. He installed crown molding that really makes the room pop.  He also painted the ceiling.  He did all this over new carpet that was installed only a few months ago.  He did not get a drop of paint on the new carpet.  As with the last project, Kevin had the key to my parents' home.  It is rare to find someone that you can trust so completely, but Kevin is such a man.  He completed the project within the timeframe he quoted and within the budget he gave me.  He made the room look brand new!

I know I will be calling Kevin again and again because I have seen what a craftsman he is."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

When deciding to replace or repair your existing fence, consider the 20% rule that fence builders reference. This rule states that if more than 20% of your fence needs repair, you should skip the repair and replace it. Additionally, if your fence is nearing the end of its life, it's often best to replace it.

Repairing the fence is a good option when you have minimal damage or damage from a specific event versus wear and tear. Your fence repair professional can assess the damage and compare the repair price with the cost of a new fence.

Wrought iron is durable, secure, and adds an elegant aesthetic to its properties.

The most affordable metal fence type is wire at just $3 to $5 per linear foot. Wire fences come in a variety of styles and do a good job of marking perimeters and keeping animals in or out of certain areas. While they’re very easy to install and repair, many homeowners find them unattractive, and many homeowners associations won’t allow them.

When your rolls of silt fence join together, you’ll want to overlap them to make sure they’re still as effective at keeping water out without requiring fastening together. Overlap two sections of the silt fencing so that two sheets of fabric cover the span of two posts. If you want to fasten them together, you can staple them or use a zip tie, depending on whether your posts are metal or wood.

The first step in choosing a reputable dog fencing company is to confirm that the professional has experience in your particular area and maintains positive reviews online. You should also check the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to see if they have accrued customer complaints in the past. Additionally, you can ask the following questions to qualify the pro:

  • Do you have experience installing the specific fence material I want?

  • Will you pull permits for the installation?

  • Will you help get a survey done to make sure I build on my property?

  • Do you have a list of referrals?
