Typical payment structure is 1/2 of total bid paid as downpayment at signing of contract to begin work with final 1/2 payment due upon completion of project. Large projects are structured differently with 1/2 of total bid paid as downpayment at signing of contract to begin work with progress payments scheduled at two or three week intervals and final balance due upon completion of project.
