Painting & Decorating by Shane LLC

Everything went well. DS Painting arrived on time and did an excellent job of painting in actually less time than I expected it to take. I supplied the paint and did some of the preparation, but that was all that was necessary. I now have two rooms that are beautifully painted. It was good to see professional painters applying their craft.

Everything came out beautifully! I am so pleased to be able to reuse these items because they have sentimental value, and now fit into my new decor.

The crew was great and the floor looks great.  They did what they said they would when then said they would do it.  We been long time clients, the reasons are simple, they have good people that take pride in their work, are trust worthy(we been known to leave the house and just tell them to lock the doors when they finish).

Shane's painter was polite and professional. He drop clothed the entire area, prepped the doors thoroughly, and applied the paint neatly. He was in no rush, and made it apparent he was on our job for the day. I used to paint part time, and I am extremely fussy. I was very pleased with the final product.

Shane's team moved all the furniture (some VERY heavy), fixed nail pops, dealt kindly with our curious cats, accommodated our schedule, and did a great job painting. The team was always polite and professional, genuinely nice guys who knew their stuff.

Shane and his crew created exactly what we had in our minds. The work done made a great improvement to our home. They were an easy to talk and friendly staff. They made sure to keep our house as clean as possible while working and cleaned up best they could afterwards. Any issues that came up were quickly corrected and they were very apologetic (even for small things). And best of all the budget was right on.

Arranged to have it painted before move in day. Worked beautifully. Had to let it dry for a few days because the weather was snowy and damp. Every day I drive in on the floor or walk on it, I am very glad I chose a professional. It looks beautiful and is easy to clean.

They were professional and on time.  They were clean, pleasant, and very flexible too.  I would recommend them to others.

This did not go well at all and far from what he promised he would do. Homeowners, be aware and go elsewhere! Don't let them in your house. The owner (Shane) will come to your home for an estimate. Well, he came here and he was very nice and he looked around and measured everything and then he told me he would fix all problems in the walls. Not true in my case. He will promise more than he can deliver. Walls are still in bad shape. When I complained about the walls he said he was only fixing "nail pops". But this is a new home (8 months old) and the builders fix nail pops for free during the first year. So that is not what I wanted, and I had told him that when he came for the estimate. But he denies it, of course. Contract just says "fix walls." I feel stupid now. Great! Plus they created new problems. They damaged my new hardwood floors when moving my fridge and my new front door (which is a new Pella door in Mahogany, very expensive door with side lights and transom!). The company has a few very good painters, but Shane does not care about the customers at all. So if there is a problem, you are on your own. When I complained, he responded to me as if I don't know what I am talking about. No customer service whatsoever!! The workers were here more than 3 weeks, Shane came here 3 times only, and one time was only because I called him. Out of those 3 times he talked to me only twice. Then when I said there were issues at the front door he said he has been following this "very closely" and he is 100% sure that his guys did not cause the problem. Ha! He did not even come to see what I was complaining about, simply stated it is not his problem. How can he be so sure if he was here only 3 times out of 3+ weeks and plus he did not even come to look at the issue at the door. Some of the work was actually good, but some of it was not, and when I complained, he did not want to hear it. Bottom line: If you are a homeowner looking for a painter, you have better options! Hire a smaller company. Shane makes too much money out of commercial jobs (he actually stated that to my boyfriend in one of those rare times he was here). He really just uses homeowners to "fill in" empty slots. He will not care about your home at all.
