Finishing Edge, Inc. employs approximately 20-25 employees depending on the time of year. We are seasonally based due to the nature of our work (we are not open/cannot pour concrete from December through March). However, we are available through the winter for estimates and consultations for new and upcoming work. Please see our contact information if you would like to schedule an estimate.

"In June of 2020, we signed a contract with Finishing Edge and gave them a 20% deposit. Unfortunately, the contract did not include a start date, and we felt ignored once they received the deposit. They rarely responded to emails or phone calls over the next 16 months, and frankly we were surprised to find them still in business when we visited their shop in search of a refund. When we requested a refund due to their inaction, they retained 25% of the deposit as a “design fee” for a sidewalk. Since they never got around to doing any work for us, we can't comment on their quality. However, we found their customer service to be essentially nonexistent. Despite the pandemic, simply returning phone calls or emails doesn't seem to be too much to ask. Do not give them a deposit unless you have a guaranteed start date or retain some other leverage. In our experience, they are happy to take your deposit and reluctant to do any work."

We were told the project manager was challenging to deal with but thought we could handle it. We were very sorry we didn’t heed the warning we received. The details to know 1. Little to no communication. You will only know day before if someone is arriving the next day or not. This is the best case: you find out the day before and, if you are lucky, they show up. 2. You will have people show up without warning as well. You don’t dare turn them away because you want the job to continue. 3. No one is onsite running your job. It’s random crews with no conversation showing up. Check their work before you let them leave. Multiple things needed to be fixed after crews left. 4. No one cares. No one to complain to, no one thinks this business model is a problem for customers. Get your recommendation from your local pool servicer. If they don’t service fresh plaster, find one that does. Ask them who the best local pool refinisher/plaster company is for your area. We now know who we should have used for a much better experience. Good luck"

Helped me figure out a design that worked well with my property and helped with coordinating the brick colors between my walls, fire pit and patio. Considering the amount of work that had to be done, the price was reasonable. Even came back a few times to help with some minor tweaks I needed to make with my lighting and didn't charge extra for those last minute cosmetic changes I decide to make. Used this company prior to my patio to install a fence on about 1/4 acre of property, design and install landscaping around most of property as it was new construction and I didn't even have grass. Here again, bent over backwards to accommodate me changing my mind 1/2 dozen times on the layout and the variety of shrubs, grasses, etc that I was picking out. This work was performed in 2014 and 2015."
