"First choice crew came this morning as promised. Had 3 large maple trees to be trimmed down which were all located close to and overhanging my neighbors house. The crew expertly dropped every limb in a small area safely away from the building. Would recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional job from beginning to clean up at a very reasonable price"

"Joe did an excellent job removing two large maples and trimming limbs on others. He also pointed out potential problems on other trees and those that did not need attention. All work was done neatly and sooner than expected. Very professional, organized, and responsive."

"They showed up when they told me they would and went right to work. It had been about 5 years since anything had been washed; the deck was discolored from pollen and vegetation dropping on it and one side if the house had greenish mold on it; they got all of it completely clean and restored to its original color. They even got the gutters white again. Excellent work!"

"

Called and left me a message stating when  they would start, they called me again

the morning of the service date to let me know when they would arrive. They arrived on time and proceeded to aerate and seed my lawn.

The excellence remains to be seen in whether or not the reseeding will take hold and a nice lawn appears.

Thanks so much.

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Professionals ensure safety, prevent property damage, and handle debris efficiently.

Sometimes, knowing when you need tree-trimming services is straightforward, and other times, you have to do some investigating. Some tell-tale signs that you should have your tree trimmed include:

  • A poorly-formed tree with unruly branches, which makes the tree appear odd-shaped.

  • A tree with tall or large branches that interfere with power lines or your home’s exterior.

  • A tree that provides too much shade in the yard due to branch overgrowth.

It’s possible, although a lot depends on the cause of damage and what steps you take. If the remaining parts of the maple tree are alive and not under attack by disease or pests, they can often be saved even if large portions of the maple tree have died. Frequent watering, careful pruning, mulch, and any recommended fungicides or insecticides can all help with survival.

The depth of tree roots depends on the species. Trees like oaks and maples can have root systems that grow down 20 feet or more. However, trees that grow in shallow soils will have roots that go only a few feet down. Research how your tree species grows in your climate area to estimate root depth.

Palm tree stumps can take as long as seven to ten years to rot naturally. Whereas some tree stumps rot within a year, palm trees tend to last longer due to their deep root networks. Chemical rotting (described above) can help speed the process up so your palm tree stumps rot in under two months.
