"Dan and his son are an absolute dream come true and no one in our family will ever hire somebody else. Are basement was completely unfinished, and in fact had a lot of our junk all over, and Dan was able to listen carefully to our ideas and thoughtfully make recommendations as to what would work best. The end result is honestly so much better than we ever imagined. Our kids now spend a lot of time in the basement playing games and making memories. We could not be happier with our decision to trust Dan, and in fact we miss seeing him like we did during the project! After finishing our basement, all of our friends asked who was able to do such a good job, and subsequently we've referred Dan and his son to our in-laws and also our good friends for major projects. Look no further, this is the team you are trying to find!"

If you're looking for someone who specializes in wallpapering in the greater Philadelphia region, look no further.\nAs a sole proprietor of my business, I do absolutely every aspect of the job myself: from returning calls, to providing free estimates (either by the job or by the hour), to doing the actual work.\nMeticulous attention to detail and fair pricing are two things that are extremely important to me and my business.\n\nI service the greater Philadelphia region (roughly within 20 miles of Wynnewood, PA - with exceptions).\nWallpapering is 90% of my work, but I also do some interior painting and handyman work on a case by case basis.

"CM Contracting has been very professional and respectful throughout the process of remodeling my entire home. Custom fabrication was a large part of the whole process. Chris kept us informed with everything being done at all times. We wanted to change a few things from the original plans and he was very accommodating with all we asked of him. Chris was very easy to communicate with. We were very hesitant to have any contractor come into our home with the amount of valuables we have on hand but they were all very trustworthy.  He also worked around some of the physical issues we have in the home. We appreciated the fact that we were able to stay in the home while the work was being completed. We invested a large amount of money into this project.
Chris and his crew exceeded our total expectations!!! CM Contracting is definitely our first choice for all future projects at our home! "

"John, the owner of Hyena Bros, was excellent and very professional. I recently started a new role in my professional career that allowed me to work remotely, so it was extremely important for me to curate comfortable, clean and neat workspaces at home. The trim in my home office and kitchen area look amazing and truly made a difference in the overall aesthetic of the space. The work was completed in a timely, professional manner. I would absolutely hire again."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

One of the biggest downsides to peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it doesn't last as long as traditional wallpaper. Its lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the paper, proper wall preparation and application, and the room's conditions. As a general rule, peel-and-stick wallpaper can last for at least five years, but this can vary significantly. Budget products may only last about 3 years, while higher-quality products can stay up for 7 years or more in ideal conditions. Factors that can shorten its lifespan include high humidity (such as in a bathroom), dirty walls, and low-quality paper. If used on flooring, expect it to last only 1 to 3 years unless sealed. However, the shorter lifespan can be seen as a positive, making it a great choice for people who enjoy switching up their interiors more frequently.

No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.

Options include bricks, natural stone, and concrete blocks. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and budget.

Because replacing pool tiles requires fully draining your pool, it’s a great opportunity to complete other projects. You may want to replace your pool’s vinyl liner or repair cracks. You might also replace your swimming pool heater or even take on the cost of resurfacing your pool. Resurfacing, although relatively costly, can help prolong the lifespan of your pool.
