24/7 REMODELING

I hired Alex to do a bathroom. And then to do some windows. The gentleman that came to do the bathroom floor worked very hard. He complained not once. He started in the morning, and left the same evening. Very good guy. The gentleman that came to do the windows was also very professional. He knocked it out. Quickly. Without any problems. They are a no nonsense crew. All professionals. I had my math wrong at the end. I was apparently going to charge myself an extra $600! Alex corrected me and charged me the right amount. They do good work and they do not overcharge you. Get a quote from Alex.

   I have to say from the first time I met Alex I knew he was going to get my business. He was the only professional and friendly contractor that respected my home enough to take off his shoes upon entering. We sat down and went over the bathroom renovation project in detail and he stated he would get me an estimate in a couple days. The estimate came and I was very pleased. It had everything we discussed, but I reached out to Alex with questions. He promptly got back and answered all of them, which put my mind at ease. One of the major questions was am able to buy my own items/materials. He agreed and adjusted the estimate pricing accordingly. I signed the contract and begin buying my dream bathroom items.
    When it came closer to my project date, Alex brought the team over to my house to meet me and view the bathroom. We agreed on a time and the morning of the project they were there bright and early. The demo started and I began my journey to my dream bathroom. Everyday during the project, Alex communicated with me whether it was on site, phone call, and/or email. He made sure to tell all of his team members to remove their shoes when entering my house. At the end of the day the team would clean up and put their tools away. Due to unforeseen circumstances the project took longer than estimated time but it was definitely worth it. The team was very devoted and worked 14 hour days including weekends and a holiday to try to get back on schedule. This company definitely lived up to it's name "24/7 Remodeling". Alex and the team let me know of any issues encountered, so I always knew what was going on and could make the appropriate decisions. He handled every minor detail down to the finish of the vanity sink drain. Alex went above and beyond with clean up once the project was complete.
    I have heard many horror contractor stories but I can honestly say this was a pleasant experience. The work looks great and comes with a one year warranty. I would highly recommend 24/7 Remodeling for any renovation project for the home. I have really enjoyed working with Alex and the team and hope to have them work on my half bathroom in the very near future.

Alex provided help with the process of ordering the cabinets and getting everthing set up The cabinets arrived on time.The job was started the day that he promised me and the workers did an excellent job The only thing that went wrong was that a order for a light was Messed up which was the fault of the lighting provider

I am pleased that my bath rooms are much nicer than before the project.  I was disappointed with the way it was completed.  I asked as the onset the approximate time frame and I was told two weeks.  There were a few change orders but by their own time estimates it would have been a 3 week project.  It took 6 weeks and it ended because I just could not take it anymore.  You start with Alex who I do believe would like things to go well but he subcontracts and then really loses control.  The contractor works usually 9-12 or 9-2p.  In the six weeks, there were only a couple of days that were complete 8 hour days.  Beware of the term contractor grade in the bid. I was told that this was a better grade of product but it was not.  I ended up purchasing the majority of the products used and was told that I used very high grade products.  My products were just purchased from Lowes and Home depot and were not the "top of the line".  Also, there was very little concern over respecting my house.  The project was extremely messy--not just construction dirt.  I fully expected plenty of dust and dirt but there splattered paint. It is obvious when I clean my "high grade" floor tile, which I do by hand, that a lot of paint was spilled and not completely cleaned up not totally noticeable until I cleaned it the first time.  In addition, the tub has two chips, again not noticeable until I cleaned up the mess left behind. My hardwood floors are scratched.  The excuse for this was being passed on to a sub-subcontractor plumber.  I don't know who did it I just know that it is done.  The offer to fix it was to "try" to cover it up.  I live in the country and trash removal was a mess.  They did not provide the dumpster that they said would happen.  The trash was piled up outside the doors and I am still picking up pieces of dry wall, pipe, broken fixes, etc.  Be sure to demand the dumpster.  I was told it could not be delivered to my house this is not true because I have had large dumpsters in the past.  I believe this was a cost cutting on the part of the contractor.
I grade them an overall C based on how bad my bath rooms were and the fact that they are now better. I am just warning you that you need to be aware of the process concerns that I have listed above.  The 6 weeks cost me additionally, paying a nephew to sit with the house the majority of the time since I have limited vacation time and not expecting 6 weeks. It is difficult to take vacation time from work and have them work just 4 hours.    I began thinking that this became a money pit.  The cost above is not inclusive of all the expenses of this project. 
I have waited to write this review to make sure that I am fair in my response.  I have given it time and all of the above is a fair "nutshell' evaluation of the project.

Alex had done some major work on the house before I listed it, so I had no problem calling him about this project.  As usual, Alex came through in the clutch and found a licensed plumber to do the work, on time and up to code.  Alex has been my go-to guy twice in the last 6 months, and he got the job done on time and at the quoted price.  Although I live 1,000 miles away, he was great at keeping me up-to-date with phone calls and e-mails.    He is an A+ contractor that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who asks.
