"We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our Sunesta Retractable Awning and the Sunesta â Sentryâ Retractable Sun Screen from Designer Awnings!! My wife and I spent 2 years deciding what to do with our back porch area, and we couldnâ t be more happy with our decision! Since the back of our house faces West, during the afternoon it would get so incredibly hot, the deck was almost unusable during this time. We needed something to block the sun, look beautiful, and meet our budget. Once we saw the quality of the material and learned the awning could extend past the edge of the deck (beyond 14 feet), we knew that we found exactly what we were seeking. We also needed something to block the sun while sitting inside our Sun Room while trying to have dinner in the summer months. My wife really wanted window treatments, but I didnâ t want to lose ANY visibility of our pool area. When Designer Awnings presented the retractable sun screen â we were SOLD!! It completely blocks the sun, lowers the temperature of the room by several degrees, and is completely hidden when standing inside the house looking out towards the pool. So for us, both the Retractable Awning and the â Sentryâ Retractable Sun Screen met all our criteria and requirements, and completely surpassed our expectations. Plus, to top everything off, both the Awning and the Screen can be controlled by using our smart phones â which is GREAT since we control almost everything else in our house using our phones. "I am extremely happy with AJ's service, start to finish. We initially reached out for an estimate at the beginning of 2015. A representative came to our house to explain all the different products as well as pricing and timing. I had reached out to 2 other companies before hand but was not comfortable their high pressure selling. AJ was very patient with us regarding our timing and budget. I received an estimate on the spot and was able to take my time to review and get back to them. We scheduled the work for May and was able to have 7 Windows removed and replaced in only a few hours. We are very impressed with the quick respond time, professionalism and quality of work including cleanup. "The Premier Siding and Roofing Company spent one full day and four hours next day completing our roof replacement job, both house and shed and also did some siding repair. The work was needed due to bad hail damage.   Kevin Juarez, a storm damage specialist, with his team - a group of eight workers - worked with us to make the entire repair process painless, even negotiating with our home insurance adjuster. We didn’t need to discuss much with the adjuster and received the initial check in one week. Kevin was both professional and personable. He listened and took notes for our special requests and followed through. Kevin was detail-oriented as well. He personally replaced one damaged lamp at the back of our house, the hale damaged shutters on our shed, and had the window screens replaced and installed in a few minutes. He also made sure that his team fixed the siding and caulked the leaks on the portico of the house.   Besides Kevin, Louis was a very sincere workmen lead. He led a group of cooperative and conscientious workers. They worked hard and did the job seriously (almost without break). Considering the heat and the Covid situation, I think they did a professionally great and good looking job.   Before they left, they cleaned up the deck, the patio, the driveway and the window sills, and moved back the planters, the water hoses and decorations to their original spots. They used rolling magnetic bars to collect the nails spreading around the house. They even used cleaning spray to wipe off the dark spots on the cement caused by the debris of the roofing.   Two thumps up!"

I visited the show room only once.  Then the designer, Sarah, came to my home on two occasions with all the books so that I could choose fabric for the shades and drapes and hardware.

Sarah was informed of my budget and worked very hard to stay within that budget.  There was no pressure from her to exceed my budget.

The shades arrived before the drapery.  I opted to have all window treatments installed at once.  M.C. Weeks worked with my schedule to determine a mutually convenient day for installation.

On the day of installation, the crew of three (Sarah, Rick and Joe) showed up on time and went about their business.  The installation finished early.  Before leaving, I was showed how to operate all the shades. I was asked if the drapes were hung to my satisfaction.  I was given all the paperwork and associated warranties.

That next evening, I noticed that three of my shades had irregularities in them.  These irregularities were not noticeable  in the sunlight. I immediately contacted Sarah the next morning,  That Friday evening, I had Rick and the owner of M.C. Weeks, Boris at my house to examine the shades. Unfortunately, it was daylight when they arrived and were not able to see what I saw in the evening.  They asked that I let the shades hang for awhile. 

I took pictures of the shades in the evening and sent them to Sarah.  She forwarded them to the original manufacturer (Hunter Douglas).  I received an email that the shades were being re-made at no additional expense to me.

The week prior to Thanksgiving, Rick and Boris returned to install the new shades.  They are perfect.

I would definitely recommend M.C. Weeks and plan to use them for my future projects.
