North Van LinesMost moving companies are experts at making things worse. Thankfully North Van Lines was different. The movers did their job so fast that I was just amazed. I was so grateful to them for making my move so easy. I didn’t really have to do anything except for yelling out instructions to them. Everything else was taken care of. James and his team were recommended by the property manager where I was moving too. Not only did they beat any quote by more than half. They were the most friendly. Genuine. Caring. Hard working team I've ever had. Wrapped my furniture. My TVs. Entertained my dog. Took care of everything. My furniture was put back together perfectly. I can't recommend any movers more than these guys. This is a must. You will not regret a thing. However you will regret not using them for your move.- Chris M.

North Van LinesI was moving before without help and is really stressful and hard, but with this company it was just fabulous. It was so nice and they really know what they are doing. They helped me from the beginning to the end, answered my entire question and took really good care of all my things before, during and after the move. They helped all the time with a smile. Nothing good to say. Horrible service, horrible communication, damaged my stuff and took forever. During a pandemic, Patriot arrived with two movers and two guys they literally found on the street and paid to help for the day. Their packing was poor and several of our things were broken. Took 46 days to deliver our stuff and their communication was horrible (“truck should be going out this week, tomorrow” etc only it never did) while we were waiting endlessly with no furniture. When they arrived with our stuff at our new home, there was ONE mover from the company and he had hired three guys off Craigslist to help him. Ended up with gouges in our floor and out of our drywall. If I wanted a bunch people off Craigslist to move my stuff, I would have rented a U-Haul and saved myself $10k. We were sent to a separate company to file a claim and 6 months later we are still waiting. Worst experience with a moving company ever.

Beyond my expectations!!!! The 3 men that came to my home were wonderful. They packed everything in my home with exceptional care. All three men were extremely professional. They explained everything they were doing & how each item would be packed. Every box was marked & labeled. I have moved before & never had this kind of service.The guys went out of their way to help with some things my husband was putting in his truck that was too heavy for us to lift. I got 4 estimates from moving companies,Hammers Moving & storage was by far the most reasonable in cost. The truck pulled up at my home on time. Everyone introduced themselves & quickly proceeded to start packing. I had done my homework to make sure they were insured & my belongings would arrive safely. I would give this company 10 plus stars if I could. Thank you, Hammers Moving, you have made this move very easy for us.

First and foremost we were looking for someone trustworthy, with strong character and a consistent reputation for quality service ... and that's exactly what we got. We met with Ben, the owner, about a month before our move. We immediately sensed that he was a true professional. He provided an estimate and we confirmed move dates with him -- one day to pack and load the truck, one day to travel to NC and deliver everything on the third day. Given the pandemic, we were concerned that something would fall through, but it all went like clockwork. Everything arrived in perfect condition. We did a little cost comparison to determine that Ben's costs were fair. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Great Valley Moving and would most highly recommend them.

Move went well considering my stressful circumstances, that is why I tipped each mover $50. Today I found out the movers felt compelled to tell my new community 'there were cat feces everywhere' in my old apartment. This was an unfair exaggeration and gossip that I consider unprofessional. I had just spent the previous month in the hospital for kidney failure and was struggling to walk and do much of anything on very sore legs. A friend would take care of my cats twice a week. I was discharged the day before the move. There was some litter spilled on mats that the litter boxes sat on, but it did not constitute 'cat feces everywhere'. I feel betrayed by this. I consider it unprofessional gossip at best, and ultimately behaviour not to be trusted.
