"Prior to moving into our house about 10 years ago, the previous owners had used Advanced Basement Solutions to have an internal french drain, sump pump and vapor barrier installed. As it had been about 10 years which is the average life of a sump pump, we decided it was time to have things checked out. Called and lady who answered was very polite, she actually got my information so the lifetime warranty could be transferred over to us and then said we could schedule a "Healthy Basement Check" and said what all that entailed. She said she would have to check scheduling and get back to me. I got a call back the next day and scheduled it for the following week and gave me a 2 hour window of when they would be out. On the day of the appointment, Chris showed up promptly and I showed him downstairs, he looked everything over and we worked to run a test on the pump which had no issues. He did recommend a high water sensor which said I could pick up myself and did recommend a dehumidifier as we did have a bit higher humidity. He answered all of our questions and we even walked around outside as he saw a couple spot inside with a little dampness and gave us some tips and things to keep an eye on. Best part is I was educated on how the pump works and what to do in the event of an issue and had peace of mind knowing that when it does go, the first pump replacement was covered so the money I spent for the checkup was worth it"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas. Would highly recommend Steve for a job."

The first contractor that came to our house asked if our budget was over or under $20k which was extremely shocking to a newly married 24 year old couple not far out of entry level positions. "My aunts house is 175 years old and it had layers upon layers of wallpaper with the final topping a spray on popcorn type of plaster over every wall in the house. Odell came in and scraped each wall in 6 rooms and a entrance way that was 3 stories high. Once he scraped the walls he coated the walls to make them smooth. During the process each room had it own unique challenges. One room had to have the ceiling removed and rebuilt. The hall way wall had to be taken down to the studs and re built. The dust was horrific but ODell did an amazing job of keeping each room contained while they were working on that room. After the walls were done being scraped and sealed he painted each wall in the house. As the project progressed ODell often took it upon himself to make very valid and Creative suggestion to make the end product even more spectacular. Also while this project was going on my 80 year old Aunt was still living in the house so he did Everything in his power to keep her stress level low. ODell was ALWAYS on time and ALWAYS in a good mood. Based on my project my neighbors have also hired him for some of their big projects. As the project progressed my aunt would often times make changes to the original plan. ODell did EVERYTHING in his powers to comply with her request and keep within the budget. The end product has produced a home that is worthy to Be a house tour. In Fact My Aunt was asked to put her house on next years house tour. WITHOUT HESITATION I would recommend ODELL!! Oh I forgot to tell you each room also had the old carpet removed and replaced. In addition to having the house done he also redid her small brick court yard more about that in a different review."
