Customers say: Quality work

"Andy the owner proved true to his word. Arrived on time every day, worked straight through each day. Exceedingly neat and very professional. Was a pleasure to have him work in our home for the 4 days, exactly the time he estimated. Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again, especially since the job turned out even better than we expected."

"Mr. Toye was a real lifesaver. He showed up right when he said and he was easy to contact about scheduling and other questions. I needed some weird problems solved at the house I just bought and everything was expertly done! Dan's rate was very fair and I already have plans for him to do more work soon!"

Small jobs welcome

"Outstanding service and workmanship by Jim. Jim offered several creative options to help me decide on the best place to install the washer and dryer hookup in my house. He converted a closet into a laundry cabinet, performing all the electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting work within budget and on schedule. Jim provided periodic updates on the work progress and left the work area in perfect order. It was truly a pleasure working with Jim and I will definitely hire him for other projects."

"Great experience! Jack is very responsive and easy to work with. I initially requested an estimate on repairing my kitchen sink and faucet. After meeting Jack and realizing the variety of services he offered, I asked him to also paint my kitchen cupboards. By the time scheduled workday was here, I had requested several additions jobs….like assembling an Amazon purchased kitchen island, installing floating shelves above my kitchen cupboards and repairing my front door. He came in with the appropriate amount of helpers, was on time and got right to work. He finished in the promised amount of time. He’s very transparent with all costs and willing to work with customers to get their project done within their pricing means. I will definitely be hiring legacy again!"

"Darrin came highly recommended by a neighbor and now we know why. He was easy to communicate with, answered all questions, documented each part of the job, and gave us a fair price. Crew showed up on schedule, worked their butts off, and cleaned up the site better than any other workers we've ever had at the house. They got our new roof done in record time. It looks great and now we have peace of mind for the winter and beyond. Definitely recommend. Thank you."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Generally, you do not need to drain your pool to convert it to a saltwater system. The main exception is if you have used an antibacterial agent containing polyhexamethylene biguanide to sanitize your pool, as these sanitation products do not mix well with saltwater systems. If this is the case, you will need to start fresh. You can either drain the pool or treat the existing water with a high dose of chlorine to remove the antibacterial agent. If you choose the chlorine treatment, wait several days to allow the chlorine to work before proceeding with the conversion. If you are unsure whether this applies to your pool, consult a pool technician.

Above-ground pools offer affordability, easier installation, portability, and flexibility in placement compared to permanent in-ground pools.

It’s fair to be concerned about handling pool lights or wiring in a pool filled with water. But fortunately, pool lights and swimming pools are designed to make it easy and safe to replace the lights without needing to drain the water. Instead, you can turn off the electricity to the pool as a safety precaution, unscrew the pool fixture, pull it up and out to the side of the pool, then change the bulb.

Gunite pools are not exactly easy to maintain—but we wouldn't call them "high maintenance." It's one of the longest-lasting pool options, but its porous surface does require a lot of care. You’ll need to thoroughly clean the pool often to prevent stubborn algae growth, and the pool will require higher chemical levels to keep it clean.

An aboveground pool should be level within 1 inch—and it starts to become unsafe after a couple of inches. Any slope will lead to an uneven distribution of water, which will put pressure on your pool’s structure, wearing down the pool liner. In certain cases, it could cause your pool to collapse. Even if you’re within a safe window, you may still notice that the water level is uneven.
