"BJ was contracted to seal our driveway in the summer of 2021. I paid him $750.00 to brush the sealer that came with a 3 year warranty. By summer of 2022 there was large sections that the sealant had come off. I contacted BJ about the problem but NEVER heard back. In May of this year I contacted him again several time and he then said he would check it out, heard nothing, I called again. He then said he would come out and SPRAY the driveway. I advised that we paid for a brush job not a spray, advising him that if the brush job did not last a year the a spray job will only last 6 months. His response was If I am not going to spray it I am not going to do it at all and he would just give a refund. I was OK with a refund. Sever weeks went by and I started making call to him about the refund with NO reply (NO SURPRISE). I would stay clear of this kind scam work. I am proceeding with other options."

Full curing—when asphalt reaches peak strength—can take anywhere from three months to a year. During that time, heavy loads and sharp objects can leave marks. Weather, asphalt mix, and thickness all affect how quickly it dries and cures. If you want your asphalt to last, treat it gently until it’s fully cured.
