"Mr Tornado was the second guy to come out to repair my hot tub. The first one came out and looked inside my 1 1/4 year old hot tub with a flashlight while continuously receiving instructions back and forth from someone on the other end of the phone. He then told me I needed to replace over $800.00 in parts not covered by my warranty and handed me a hefty bill for the house call. I called Tony Tornado, Inc from Angie's list for a second opinion and Tony Tornado arrived exactly at the time he specified. He was very polite and friendly. He opened the tub up, laid out his tools and very methodically checked each component. He tested and tightened some loose wires and that was it. He explained to us that sometimes after moving and installing a tub wires become loose like this. No parts were needed. He is a very honest man. We've been using our hot tub now for over 5 months now with no problem."

"Excellent customer service from the installers and office team. They arrived on time, finished ahead of what I expected.Dennis and crew cleaned up everything and even straightened out my mess around the pool. When the liner leaked from a seam defect, they assisted in getting the 2nd liner installed in less than a week! They are awesome to work with. Thank you Marie and Dennis"

"I am a small business owner. The heating and A/C in our business were very old so we knew it was a matter of time before they needed to be replaced. Last week the air conditioner finally stopped working for good. I sent an inquiry through Angie's List and Brian Anthony's Refrigeration called me within 3 minutes and was at my business within the hour. They gave us an estimate for the job, which was lower than previous estimates from other companies and we agreed to the specifics. Install was complete within a day and the guys were friendly and knowledgeable. We experienced some water dripping from the A/C and they came back twice in the same day to make sure the problem was resolved. As a business owner, I appreciate the level of commitment to making sure the job is done correctly and correcting problems as they arise. Excellent customer service, super fast response time, fair pricing, and pleasant employees. I'm satisfied with the job and will continue to use Brian Anthony's for our HVAC needs."

"My air conditioner was not working so I contacted my home warranty service and they sent a local company representative to checkout the problem. It was a capacitor - the technician installed the part and it has been working ever since."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.
