"Jimmy was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining what was needed in our crawl space. He tore all wet / moldy insulation ,replaced all rotten beams, installed the humidifier and did the entire encapsulation. He came on a weekend to meet with to explain the processes in person. ( we live out of state ) We Highly recommend this company."

"Before selling my house, I wanted to upgrade the insulation in the crawl space. A fine job was done in installing & pest control. I found it a bit pricey. And I’m still waiting for a copy of the receipt. But good work."

These two types of foams are similar chemically, but they are applied in a much different way and each has its own pros and cons. Therefore, You can use spray foam insulation to seal around HVAC boots that penetrate through the drywalls or around where wrapped ducts connect to the boots, but we don’t recommend using spray foam insulation to encapsulate your air ducts. Spray foam insulation on air ducts is also less effective compared to duct wraps.

Unfaced wall insulation is easier to cut and install, making it the better choice for a DIY project. It’s also more affordable. But if it’s unfaced, you’ll likely need to add a vapor barrier to reach your desired R-value and efficiency, as it doesn’t offer any moisture barrier.

Faced insulation uses paper or foil to create a built-in barrier and doesn’t require an extra step. It’s also more fire-resistant and safe. But it’s quite a bit more expensive and a little bit harder to work with as a DIYer.
