About Me Hi, I’m Heather! I’ve been a professional cleaner for over 10 years, and I truly love what I do. Cleaning isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I take pride in. I find it therapeutic and rewarding to transform a space and leave it fresh, organized, and welcoming. My clients appreciate my reliability, attention to detail, and the care I put into every home I clean. I treat every space as if it were my own, and I always aim to go above and beyond expectations. Whether it’s a deep clean or regular upkeep, I believe a clean home brings peace of mind. Fun Fact: I actually find cleaning relaxing! There’s something satisfying about seeing instant results and knowing I’ve helped make someone’s day a little easier.

Flume Exterior Cleaning LLC is a full service and owner-operated pressure washing business located in Dillsburg, PA. We specialize in restoring siding, decks, driveways, roofs, fences, and vehicles. We are proud to offer discounts to military, first responders, healthcare professionals, and teachers 365 days a year!

"Said contractor did start out to do the work that was requested. Since the cemetery is locked he would at first let me know when he was coming. I would then leave the gate unlocked from him. Sometimes he would not even come when her said he would. He did start with some of the grinding of the (2) gates. The smaller gate he did grind the most of it. Then he did start to paint some of the smaller gate, but not the whole gate. So now that gate still is not fully painted. We requested 2 coats of rust primer and rust paint. Now the larger of the (2) gates is 3 quarters grinded with still paint and lichen still visible. A little portion of this gate is painted. He started this job in June 2023, I gave him allowance that there were some hot days that were not good to do anything. I had a set of keys to the cemetery made for him so that he could go and come to get the job do quicker. I have texted him and called him numerous times he does not answer my text nor does he return my phone calls. He had promised to have this work done by October end. I have not see him and he is no further along with this work then he was in early early September. The money that is being used for this project is grant money that I received from PA Hallowed Ground. If this work is not completed by the end time of the grant. I will have to return this money. This money was to pair this contractor for his work. I had to show proof to the organization that gave me this grant. So they have his signed contract. I at this time can not depend on this person to finish this job. The board has agreed to not do business with him and want to move forward with someone else that we be able to complete the job. I have contacted another company to finish this job and have informed them of this whole ordeal. We can not lose this GRANT MONEY, I worked to hard to get this grant. Also I want the keys to the cemetery back!!!!!"

"2 poorly done jobs was enough for us. They are unreliable, unprepared, lack communication, and cut corners. After I reached out with my dissatisfaction he blocked me from his Facebook page so that I could not leave a review. Red flag. Outdoor permanent light install: They no showed on the agreed day, that night Kyle reached out and asked if they could come the next morning. The day of the install they were a few hours late, making me late for work, when they arrived they realized they mismeasured and didn't have additional supplies they needed so they asked us to order them and would come back when we had them. Second time they come back and they are several hours late again. After 8-9 hours of hanging 125 feet of lights, fixing something that was overlooked, and sticking around to troubleshoot issues, the lights worked for about 10 minutes-long enough for us to admire and for them to get their pictures for social media, then a few lights went out. I assumed it was something going on in the app and would have my husband check it out, so I sent them on their way. It was dark and cold and didn't want to keep them any longer, and I needed to get my kids in bed. Next morning we go outside to see the installation wasn't holding up. Lights that were supposed to be screwed on were hanging off, cords that were supposed to be tucked away were flying in the wind, and more cords that I asked them to hide were not hidden (that was my fault for not checking the night of because it was dark). I reached out immediately asking if they could come back to take them down. Kyle agreed and also offered to come back to troubleshoot and fix what was wrong instead but I declined because given all the trouble we went through we were not confident in their ability to fix these issues for the long term. The idea of throwing away money on the install and paying them again to take them down was gut wrenching but we had no other way of getting them down ourselves and we just wanted to be done with it and at least recoup the money we spent on the lights. He told me he would get an estimate to remove them and be there on a specific day. Well, said day comes around and he is a no show nor did I ever get an estimate, so I texted him asking if he was still coming and the cost. I didn't hear from him until afternoon of the following day saying he can be there the next morning and provided me his estimate which was just a little cheaper than the install, which seemed unethical considering their install didn't even last through the night. At that point I replied to Kyle and said not to bother, I reached out to a friend to help when I hadn't heard from him. Fast forward a few days later when our friend comes to help take the lights down we find that an entire section of lights weren't even properly secured to the soffit. Per our original request they were asked to screw the lights on and we specifically asked them to not use the adhesive, well they used adhesive for 1/3 of the lights and no screws. When the lights came down there was adhesive left all over the underside of our house including some of the light backings! At this point I'm angry, these guys clearly didn't do what was asked, therefore resulting in a botched installation. I then reached out to Kyle to let them know that we found they didn't do the installation properly and that all lights were not secured with screws. Kyle argued multiple times that each light was screwed in despite me sending him several pictures and videos where there is no screw hole but instead leftover adhesive. He offered to come back and remove the adhesive to which I declined because I can't trust him at this point. I asked him instead if he could do a partial refund considering we paid all this money for this install that was done improperly and he refused. He told me that he believes they did quality work and that "he is sorry I feel this way". He never owned up to his mistakes nor gave a sincere apology. The other was a small landscape job where corners were cut and didn't hold up for more than a few weeks."

Roof Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

Decks, driveways, siding, and patios are common areas that see improved appearance.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.

A green roof is a roof design that includes a thin layer of vegetation on the roof surface. It’s an environmentally friendly option. Some green roofs may look like they have moss or algae on them, causing neighbors to suggest that you clean the roof. However, you should never try to clean a green roof, as any cleaning methods you deploy will likely kill the vegetation.
