"I was not only in the market for a new patio but a new drainage solution. A recent flash flood was exacerbated by my concrete patio that seemed to keep water between my house and the grass. This led to water leaking in and potential water damage to my home. I got several different hardscapers to come to my house. Some provided a quote, but never called back. Others outright refused to do the job because I lived in an HOA community and they preferred not to deal with the back and forth with an HOA board. Some said my project was "too small". "Met with Joe to express our needs and brainstormed different options and decided on an approach that was best for the existing layout. Joe is a great communicator throughout our entire experience, updating progress and arrival times, etc. The working crew did an all around awesome job from demolition of deteriorating walkway, driveway and porch to the laying the new areas. They were dry pleasant and personable to speak with. What was most impressive was the pride of their work and attention to details. When the driveway and side walk were poured, they took time to neatly backfill the edges with little spade shovels and level everything out. Their cleanup was impeccable to the point you would not have known they were even here. At the end of the project, they roped off the area to keep people off and dry properly to the point they will have to return to retrieve the poles and such. "After we reached out through Angie's List we got an appointment right away. The owner came for inspecting the spot we had planned for the awning, took the exact measurements and helped select the fabrics. Just a few weeks later, sooner than hoped for the awning was installed. Installation was very quick including cables and indoor switch, everything nicely hidden under the siding.
They will even help us fixing an issue we have with one of our patio doors.

"This was our second time using Manfreida Carpentry, and we will definitely use this company again. Previously, Wally installed a door and storm door on the back of our house, as well as a small section of gutter and a downspout. The job was completed in a single day. Pleased with his work, and anxious to address some additional problem areas, we contacted Wally this past winter to address two problems: openings created by a previous owner on the side of our house under a dining room window bump out and a crawl space that contains pipes (which have been freezing) for a downstairs bathroom. Wally initially came to our house and inspected the areas of concern. He then wrote an estimate an emailed it to us. During the initial estimate, Wally carefully examined the dining room bump out and discussed some of his concerns, which included some problems with our siding and likely water penetration behind the siding. Wally explained the reasons behind his assessment and I felt confident that he was trying to prevent me from superficially addressing the areas of concern. Face to face, Wally clearly answered all of my questions, and I had many. Wally understood our monetary constraints and presented us with several different options for dealing with the observed problem. We ultimately decided to purchase new siding. After the siding was installed, by Ryan, who did most of this work, Wally proceeded to insulate and repair the areas of initial concern. We also decided to add capping to all of our windows and a new front screen door. We were pleased with the quality of the work and impressed that whenever we had a question or concern, it was addressed promptly."
