It took him a little longer than he initially estimated to me, but we requested special wood (a more ecologically produced pressure treated lumber) and so there was some time in getting and adjusting to the new materials. "The entire project went way better than expected. From the initial designs, which changed multiple times, to the final measurements and installation. The designer, Terra, was very responsive, and pointed out what would and would not work which made the process much easier for us. The owner of the company personally did our final measurements and made some minor tweaks to the design that we would have missed. The 3D designs they gave us we're amazingly realistic, and made us comfortable with the layout. Every appointment we had with them from design, to measure, to install, and the process of granite selection, measurements and installation we're exactly on time and professional. Terra even came to our house personally on install day to make sure there was no confusion on the layout. We had a minor issue with adjustment of a couple of doors, and Terra had someone here 2 days later to make the minor adjustment. Couldn't be happier with the way it went. I met them at the Home Show in the spring and knew they were the right fit for us. The cabinets we selected are super high quality, and much more reasonably priced than I expected. There were NO surprises. I would definitely hire them again or refer them to a friend or family member."

"Ben and his guys were absolutely amazing. I chose Ben over two other bids not only because he was the cheapest, but because he was so nice and down to earth, so knowledgable, and also because i could tell that he was an honest and decent person not trying to upsell me or trick me into overpaying. I hired him to fix a botched shower remodel which not only had to be completely redone, but also had to be remedied, as the last guy left me with a bad plumbing issue and also never finished the job, rendering it unusable and leaving me no choice but to take the Air BnB unit off the market for the entire month prior. Ben and his four guys swooped in a few days later and ripped out and redid the shower surround very beautifully, and then proceeded to diagnose/repair/install/remedy every single problem I had had in all three of my units, which was a LOT, as I was unable to find a handyman or contractor who would even show up, let alone send over a quote. They did so many things, including replacing 3 sinks, and a stove and hauling them away, installing - range hood, installing carpet transition strips, repairing an awning, repairing water damaged baseboards, painting, mirror removal (it was GLUED on), installation of two other mirrors, and repairing the ceiling that was falling down due to a major leak, which was a difficult drywall job where it was located. They even discovered and fixed the leak on my roof which I had already hired someone to fix. I really can’t say enough good things about Ben and his guys, and already schedule him for three more upcoming jobs, including a deck restoration, and creating an enclosed cat house with separate storage space and pantry under my stairs, repairing missing siding and some other odds and ends over the next three months. FIVE STARS!?"

"I originally found Mark on Angie's List, with all the great reviews, I had to check him out.  I am a first time home  buyer and Mark helped me with weighing my options with FHA or Conventional.  We ended up going conventional with 5% down, which saved us a lot of money.
I had another quote from another Mortgage lender, which I shared with Mark.  I also told Mark we have 30 days to close, so he definitely had his work cut out for him.  Mark ended up winning the job, he got me the best rate and cheapest closing costs.  He also promised me 30 days closing, which I was very happy he was able to do.  Everything went smoothly, and he was quick to pick up the phone and give me advice throughout the whole process.  He was very upfront with everything, all of the costs were outlined and there were NO hidden fees at the closing table.  I would highly recommend Mark, I am recommending all my family and friends to use him!

"I can't praise the workers highly enough. Everything was professionally done. The entire area was cleaned at the end of each day. They made every effort to minimize disruption to my use of the spaces. One day there was a wind storm and a piece of fascia on my neighbor's house came loose and was flapping against the house. The neighbors were out of town. Bob Marburger, the manager on the project was able to pull the fascia down. He did it without any consideration of how he might get paid for his time. In fact, when my neighbor asked him how much he was charging for the fix; Bob told him to forget it. That is an excellent example of the type of person Rick Horn hires. On more than one occasion, they took my garbage to the curb or did other things that helped me out but were unrelated to their project. I have already hired them for another project. Their prices are fair--not the lowest or the highest; but the quality you will get for that fair price is excellent. Rick Horn Construction gets my highest recommendation with no reservation."
