It took him a little longer than he initially estimated to me, but we requested special wood (a more ecologically produced pressure treated lumber) and so there was some time in getting and adjusting to the new materials. "We had a fantastic experience with BKG Design (North Hills Location). Our kitchen designer, Noelle, came up with a great design given the small size of our kitchen that was right in line with our expectations. Throughout the entire process she was there to give design tips and help us create the modern look we were envisioning. Given the age of our previous kitchen we needed a fair amount of work done including demo, electrical, plumbing, and some floor work on top of the new cabinets and countertops. What I loved about Noelle and BKG was there was never any pressure or upselling along the way. All of our options were laid out to us from least expensive to most expensive and any part of the project that we wanted to do ourselves or hire an outside contractor for they were happy to accomodate. We ended up choosing BKG for the entire remodel and I am so happy that we did. Noelle did a fantastic job of project management as the entire remodel fell exactly to plan from both a time and cost perspective. Noelle would check in frequently to make sure we were aware of what was next to come, any upcoming decisions we had to make, and clarify items if there was any potential for confusion. In addition to project management, the install itself went very smoothly and that was thanks to the wonderful installers, Bill and Chris. Given that I work from home I was able to witness their work each day and I have nothing but praise for everything that they did. They showed up on time every single day and did not skip a beat from the moment they walked through the door. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and even go so far as to explain how things are done or provide advice as I like to learn a bit myself. Their knowledge of what they were doing was very apparent and impressive and it shows in the final product. If you want a kitchen remodel that is managed properly, stays true to cost estimates, and has a finished product that aligns with your expectations, look no further. "Ben and his guys were absolutely amazing. I chose Ben over two other bids not only because he was the cheapest, but because he was so nice and down to earth, so knowledgable, and also because i could tell that he was an honest and decent person not trying to upsell me or trick me into overpaying. I hired him to fix a botched shower remodel which not only had to be completely redone, but also had to be remedied, as the last guy left me with a bad plumbing issue and also never finished the job, rendering it unusable and leaving me no choice but to take the Air BnB unit off the market for the entire month prior. Ben and his four guys swooped in a few days later and ripped out and redid the shower surround very beautifully, and then proceeded to diagnose/repair/install/remedy every single problem I had had in all three of my units, which was a LOT, as I was unable to find a handyman or contractor who would even show up, let alone send over a quote. They did so many things, including replacing 3 sinks, and a stove and hauling them away, installing - range hood, installing carpet transition strips, repairing an awning, repairing water damaged baseboards, painting, mirror removal (it was GLUED on), installation of two other mirrors, and repairing the ceiling that was falling down due to a major leak, which was a difficult drywall job where it was located. They even discovered and fixed the leak on my roof which I had already hired someone to fix. I really can’t say enough good things about Ben and his guys, and already schedule him for three more upcoming jobs, including a deck restoration, and creating an enclosed cat house with separate storage space and pantry under my stairs, repairing missing siding and some other odds and ends over the next three months. FIVE STARS!?"

"I originally found Mark on Angie's List, with all the great reviews, I had to check him out.  I am a first time home  buyer and Mark helped me with weighing my options with FHA or Conventional.  We ended up going conventional with 5% down, which saved us a lot of money.
I had another quote from another Mortgage lender, which I shared with Mark.  I also told Mark we have 30 days to close, so he definitely had his work cut out for him.  Mark ended up winning the job, he got me the best rate and cheapest closing costs.  He also promised me 30 days closing, which I was very happy he was able to do.  Everything went smoothly, and he was quick to pick up the phone and give me advice throughout the whole process.  He was very upfront with everything, all of the costs were outlined and there were NO hidden fees at the closing table.  I would highly recommend Mark, I am recommending all my family and friends to use him!

"Our job was difficult, particularly because the team had to work around our house elevator, which could not be compromised because my brother, who is wheelchair-bound, lives with us and uses it every day. Rick and Bob were both innovative and meticulous about the work. Their workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. I could also see how the knowledge of the older craftsmen was being taught to the younger ones. I was very comfortable having these men in my home, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their home, particularly if you have something tricky. These guys will figure it out."
