"Installed less than 2 years ago. Please look at pictures. Installed by 2 Mexican gentleman, one did not speak any English. Floors are spacing already. I CAN PULL THE BOARDS UP BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SPACED. ONE HUGE CHIP. THERE’S GAIGES IN THE LVT. Spoke with LASHAY TEASLEY customer service who after looking at pictures TOLD ME THIS WAS MY FAULT AND WOULD NOT BE COVERED. I WAS APPARENTLY LIED TO BY SALES REP WHEN HE SAID WE HAD 5 year coverage on install and 25 years on product. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. "Installed bad parts, wanted to charge another job to fix. Plumbing leaking in wall if tub is used. Caulking separated within 48 hours. Popcorn sprayed all over my skylight. Called me a liar multiple times, saying he warned me of bad parts. Not true. Shady company, unwilling to resolve anything they messed up. Pictures and texts will be posted on social media to come. (After ripping me off, he also ruined a neighbors remodel up the Street from me, also overcharged) I was quoted 22$ an hour for him, 15$ an hour for his helper for 40 hours. They both were they together COMBINED working 25 hours for 1700$ labor. That's 68$ each ... Unreal. Good luck"

  • There was intentional gluing or stapling to the surface.

  • The polyurethane and floor bonded over years of wear.

  • Pet urine, spills, or other substances leaked through the carpet and created a sticky surface.

If the carpeting in the home has not been changed in a long time, clearing off the padding underneath could be difficult. Pet urine can wreak havoc on carpeting and the flooring underneath. If you have a concrete subfloor, you must secure the carpet padding with adhesive or glue. However, if you have a wooden subfloor, use staples instead. Removing a glued-down carpet can be difficult and time-consuming, so it’s best to avoid glue when possible.
