Told us that it wasn't a problem now and how to know if it was becoming a more serious issue. Also examined some support posts to assess if they had moved. Overall we learned a bit more about our basement and house construction, and they did not charge us for the visit because the issue was not serious at this time. Great experience!"

"Not enough can be said about the integrity, ethic, and dedication of Leo and his crew. To make a long story short. Talk is cheap and few people actually live up to the hype. We had 6 people come look at the roof before meeting Leo. Five ran away without even a quote. So when Leo said I'll use commercial grade materials with a lifetime ownership warranty, and have it done in three days. In my head I laughed. "Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas. Would highly recommend Steve for a job."

"I had bids from 3 kitchen and bath renovators and BKG came in far below the other businesses. I read good reviews about them so I decided to hire them. My design specialist was Terra Brubaker in the South Hills showroom. She was extremely helpful with choosing the cabinets and quartz countertops. She spent quite a bit of time with me through the process by answering questions about installation and appliance purchases. Installation went smoothly however there were a few minor things that needed adjusting after install so Terra made sure everything was perfect and sent the installers back to the house. "These guys are the best in the game - I've hired them for 3 separate projects at this point. I hired Burns & Scalo for the same projects a few years back. Burns & Scalo charged me twice as much but did half as good of work. I saw these guys working on a house across the street and I've been using them ever since. They're honest & hardworking (they were doing 12 hour days working on my gutters under headlamp to make sure they were complete before a big storm). At this point I wish they were paying me a referral fee for the number of times I've recommended them to other people."
