"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"Johnny was nice on my first phonecall with him, but the professionalism diminished quickly. His workers complained, took smoke breaks, and were way too hasty and careless with furniture. They damaged my property not once, but twice. I had to pay in full before the insurance claim was put through, which should have been my first red flag. Their insurance denied the claims, so my furniture was taken to a third party. Bringing the items back, one item was damaged again. Putting ithe drawers back into a chest, a track was broken. I requested a third party to come repair the track, as I no longer trust this company with any of my belongings. Johnny currently has not gotten back to be regarding ordering new tracks. When asked, Johnny was upset that I left a negative review, and the lack of professionalism is exhibited via text message shown. This company exhibits a lack of care for your belongings, lack of professionalism. Do not trust them with your valued items."
