There are large sections of my lawn where the grass is now completely gone as the result of improperly applying fertilizer and burning the grass. Before TruGreen my lawn was healthy and pothole free. I am also now dealing with a mosquito infestation. This after 7 treatments from TruGreen during 2022. Again, I never had this issue with my previous lawn care service. Avoid at all costs if you value your lawn."

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. Tree removal costs an average of $750, but it can range from $200 to $2,000, depending on the tree's height, diameter, and accessibility. For instance, very large, thick trees will generally cost more to remove than small, thin trees. It's also typically customary to tip your tree removal professional, usually $20 to $100.

It will take you anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours per tree stump to grind and remove the stump from the ground. The larger the size, the longer it will take to remove the stump. Also, keep in mind that rocky soil may require local excavation services to loosen up large boulders before you can begin to remove the tree stump.

Generally, you should prune around 20% of an apple tree’s growth—and never more than 30%. This means that if you have a severely overgrown tree, it can take a few seasons to prune it back enough to produce the healthiest fruit.

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.
