"I highly recommend PatchMaster. Damon was great to work with in diagnosing the problem and arranging the project, and Josh was a truly skilled craftsman in making our ceiling look better than new. (The options offered above for describing "service/project" are not very broad; our specific project was repairing sections of a living room ceiling that were peeling, and then painting entire ceiling to blend the color.) The job took days longer than estimated due to extra moisture in the air from a recent storm, but PatchMaster stayed with it until the result was perfect (and at no extra cost). Very professional company. Thanks, guys, for an excellent experience."

"In March 2011, a rock pad was laid as a foundation for our large garage being delivered.  Excellent work performed.  As a result of the impressive, professional job done, we had Rock a Fellas redo our deck in July, 2011.  A re-decking took place with Timbertech decking materials with radiance rails.  This was not an easy job, but Rock was very helpful in offering important advice and opinions on where to select materials etc.  He also took care of ordering the dumpster to haul away debris, a detail which can be overlooked by an overwhelmed customer.  He also rectified any concerns/issues with a prompt, professional manner which ultimately led to our great satisfaction when job was completed.

"Tried to put windows in that did not match the rest of the house. Have tan trim on house tried to put white on did not do good job flashing chimmey looks like crap the roof and siding did a good job did not do the work I paid him to do lots of short cut and not done right. There is no way to cut drywall without making dust, but you can reduce the amount of dust and especially the dangerous airborne particles by using manual cutting tools. Using a utility knife to score and snap your drywall will minimize dust production, and a jab saw for cutting cutouts for boxes and fixtures will generate almost no airborne dust. You should always hang drywall from the top down. Starting at the top makes it easier to create a straight, tight line between the ceiling and the wall. Any gaps that occur will be at the bottom, where they are easier to manage. You can either cut the bottom piece of drywall to fit the remaining space or cover the gap with baseboard trim. Additionally, starting at the top is physically easier, as you won't have to fit the top sheet into a tight space between the lower sheet and the ceiling, or try to balance the upper sheets on the lower ones while securing them.
