"Juan was an expert with installing the smart thermostat. He double checked with the manufacturer about the wiring as it was different with my geothermal system. He was professional and thorough and I would definitely hire him again for a project."

"Steve assembled a trampoline for me in about 3 hours on a Friday morning. He was kind, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the whole process. He broke a bolt during installation and drove to the local hardware store to replace it. He also hauled all the trash away for a small, reasonable extra fee that was negotiated in the spot. Zero complaints. Just good work. Steve will be the first person I call for assistance with other jobs from now on for sure. Thank you!"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

You can take multiple approaches to keep animals out of your edible landscape. You can use natural repellents such as mint and cayenne pepper to deter them from your garden. You can also build a fence (or opt for a privet hedge) or keep the most enticing plants in a sectioned-off area. The most efficient method of keeping your four-legged guests at bay is to determine what animal it is and create a customized plan for them.

Yes, honey bees can sting, but they typically only do it when they feel their hive is threatened. When honey bees are away from their hive, they’re focused on foraging for pollen and nectar, making them unlikely to sting. Only female honey bees, called workers, have stingers, and they will die if they need to use them. Generally, if left undisturbed, honey bees will leave you alone.

Your household members and pets should remain out of the house for at least two to four hours after using a bug bomb. However, you should adhere to the product’s safety guidelines, as well as any professional guidance from an exterminator.

There are a few ways to keep pesky bugs away from your garden. One option you have is to plant flowers so beneficial insects like ladybugs can control pests for you. A similar method is companion planting, which means you’ll grow vegetables that’ll discourage pests, like garlic, onions, and basil. The best pest prevention method will depend on the bugs you have issues with and the plants in your garden.

Based on infestation severity, semi-annual or annual checks are recommended.
