"I posted this review on yelp and my experience as so good that I wanted to add it here in case it helps other people to connect with this great company! We hired Millenium to move our household from Havertown to Ft Washington. We met with the owner, Tony, to estimate the job and felt very comfortable that we would be in capable hands. He offered a lot of advice and tips to help make our move as smooth as possible. Our move, which was from a five bedroom house, involved 2 trucks and a team of 8 men and they were fantastic! They arrived right on time, were professional and courteous, and helpful. They worked so quickly and efficiently that they turned out 2 day move into 1 day! I am so thrilled with our experience, impressed with their HUSTLE, and highly recommend this company!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving a washer and dryer can be difficult due to the appliances’ weight and size. If you need to move these appliances up or down stairs, then it will be more challenging. It also depends on the type of dryer you have, as a gas dryer is more complicated to disconnect than an electric dryer. The difficulty of the task also depends on whether you’re easily wheeling the washer and dryer up a moving truck’s loading ramp or lifting them yourself.

Moving brokers are required to advertise that they aren’t moving carriers. While it might be buried in the text of the ad, they need to say somewhere that they aren’t the provider of moving services. Moving brokers should also display their Department Of Transportation number in their advertising. Read all of the advertising materials carefully and ensure your moving company is registered.

Unscrew and remove furniture legs if possible. If it’s not possible, then run the straps parallel on the inner side of the furniture legs. Never put your straps on the outer side of legs where they can easily slip off.

Depending on your safe’s size and weight, we don’t recommend moving the safe without hiring professional movers. A moving service will have the equipment and skills necessary to move this heavy, bulk item safely. If you insist on moving it yourself, enlist the help of a few friends to help you move the gun safe with a furniture dolly.

To prepare for moving a piano, start by documenting its current condition with photos in case of any damage during the move. Secure the piano's lid and wrap the instrument, including its keys and pedals, with bubble wrap and moving blankets for protection. Note that if you have hired professional piano movers, they may handle this step for you.

Next, prepare the space. Measure any tight spaces or doorways to ensure the piano will fit through. Clear a wide path from the piano's location to the exterior door, removing any furniture or obstacles. It is also helpful to prop open doors to make the exit easier.

On moving day, ensure the moving truck can park as close to the exit as possible. For safety, keep children and pets away from the moving area to prevent accidents or distractions.
