"Everyone was very professional and courteous. Since they were both waterproofing (installing a sump pump system) and finishing the basement there were two different crews but each one was knowledgeable and took care and time to show me every step they were making. There were a few times where communication from the head office was a little lacking but the team members themselves were great. I would highly recommend their services even though the price tag is quite high."

"Pat and his team were, by and large, fantastic. They executed on all aspects of the original quote flawlessly. The ribbon pointing around the stonework, especially in the front part of the house, turned out very nice. We're extremely happy with how the masonry looks. It went so smoothly, we added additional work onto the quote to seal the concrete and touch up paint along the exterior of the house. The painting wasn't as neat or clean as it could have been - it's probably a little step above what I could have done. Mostly importantly, when we encountered a couple of problems along the way, they were responsive and went above and beyond to sort it out. I think they approached the whole project very well, and even worked with us on the price for the add-ons. All-in-all, super solid work from a super solid contractor. Highly recommended."

"We had a concrete walkway and patio that was in need of repair. Several cracks and not level. We had several estimates to replace, which was very expensive. We had Lift It Pro give us an estimate on leveling the concrete. The owner was professional, answered all our questions. His price was WAY LOWER than replacing. We were given references to call. He completed the job in the time frame promised. Only one day to raise the concrete, and can use the patio immediately. If considering concrete replacement or repair, do not hesitate to call Lift It Pro"

"Larry came out and did an analysis of our exterior drainage system, as we were having some puddling issues in the front and rear of our yard. We had just moved into the home a few months prior and Larry also did an analysis of our basement as we were having some concerns about the slightly bowed wall in our basement. Larry was very thorough and took a lot of time to go through the details of the exterior french drainage system he would install. He responded back to us in a timely manner and was extremely reasonable with their quote compared to other bids we had received from other contractors.
Larry and his team came out to the house and made quick work of a tedious job.  They took good care to keep the job-site as tidy as possible. Although Larry changed from the original plan, we felt comfortable with this as he was very thorough when explaining the reasons behind the change and we felt he had our best interest at heart. If we had any questions Larry was always available to answer them for us even when we called at 9pm.
We had a walkway that they had to cut through in order to run the piping for the drainage and Larry even added concrete to fix the walkway even though it wasn't in our original proposal.
We feel like with the work that was completed we got an excellent price and we have the peace of mind knowing that the job was done properly.

"I recently worked with Justin Watson from Watson & Sons Construction on four projects across two properties, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Here’s a quick work summary: -Garage Floor (Concrete flatwork): Justin expertly repaired cracks and resurfaced the entire floor, delivering a smooth, durable finish. -Concrete sidewalk & steps rebuild: Two sidewalks, including a four-tier walkway, were rebuilt flawlessly, improving both safety and aesthetics. -Concrete Patio Repair and Resurfacing: Justin revitalized our worn patio, enhancing both its appearance and structural integrity. From the start, he provided accurate estimates and reasonable pricing. Every project was completed on time and within scope, with no surprises. His outstanding communication kept us informed every step of the way. Overall, my experience with Watson & Sons Construction was excellent. "Working with JMJ has been, by far, the best experience we have ever had with any type of hired/contracted company. When the president, Jason, arrived for our estimate appointment, he listened to my plan and offered several inexpensive suggestions that really added to the overall design. We received our estimate within a few days, and the estimate included computer-generated drawings of the design, which really helped us to visualize the final product, and it ensured us that JMJ understood what we were looking for. The initial estimate came in over our budget, but Jason worked with me to make some changes that would allow us to remain under budget. They began working about one week after I accepted the bid. I have had a lot of experience with hired work, and this crew was the most professional I have ever seen. Jason (president) and Gil (vice president) worked on the job every day. Their additional two men were highly skilled, efficient, and very polite. The crew worked a minimum of 8 hours each day and made sure that everything was clean and secure at the end of the work day. The work itself is beautiful!! There was a great level of detail paid to every aspect of the job. We live in a row home in the city which often makes work difficult because of the junk and fill debris, and uneven lines of the house. JMJ approached this job as if it were a million dollar estate in the suburbs. We really appreciate their commitment to quality. I could go on and on about JMJ, but I will just say that they went above and beyond our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.

Pros often use mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection to level a sunken concrete patio. Both methods lift the slab by filling voids beneath it. After properly compacting the soil beneath it to prevent future settling, the concrete may need to be removed and re-poured for severe sinking.

The method involves lifting settled concrete using pressurized cement slurry via drilled holes. This solves uneven surfaces and prevents further settling.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.
