"Great again, hired them back two weeks after they came do yardwork and land clearing they put up my fence, row my entire property, a chain-link and salt a chain-link gate at the front of the property so people couldn’t use my driveway as a U-turn put an electric gate opener on there and they came out perfect I will be using them in the future and from now on they are my go to company"

"My new deck is absolutely beautiful! I had just about ever getting my old beat up deck remodeled after getting several absurdly high quotes. Until my neighbor recommended Brad and RedoRite who gave me a very fair price and even worked with me to lower it by even more by taking care of all the hard heavy lifting parts and leaving the easy stuff like deck railing for me to finish. This helped me save THOUSANDS!! I absolutely love my new deck and really appreciate all the help Brad and Blake were through the whole process! They also resurfaced and sealed my hardwood floors and they look brand new!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Glass fences are extremely strong. You can drop 10mm thick tempered glass on concrete and it wouldn't break. Considering that certain types of glass are bulletproof, glass has the capacity to be exceptionally durable and resistant to breaking. Certain types of glass, like laminated glass, are designed to not shatter at all, but rather break into giant pieces.

When considering how much of a gap should be under a fence or gate, a good rule of thumb is to keep gaps between 2 and 5 inches tall. This allows for some ground clearance for the gate but still provides safety for children and pets, who shouldn’t be able to squeeze through a gap of that size.

Snow fences work well when they are correctly installed. This snow tool disrupts the wind flow and reduces the amount of snowdrift in specific areas, such as roads, walkways, and buildings. Of course, the effectiveness of the snow fence depends on various factors, such as fence type, height, and wind patterns.

While wood fencing is versatile and durable, there are other fence material options to consider. Check out our comprehensive list of the Best Types of Fences for Your Home to browse through some other fencing materials. Popular types include metal fencing, such as aluminum and chain link, and wood alternatives, such as vinyl or composite fencing.

In terms of materials, chicken wire mesh will be the most inexpensive option to use when building your fence. The downside is that it’s not the most attractive garden fence option. In a similar vein, you could choose a DIY fence made out of repurposed items, like car tires, or wooden pallets, either of which would be free to collect.
