"My family had a vision to build a modern electric fireplace with mounted tv in our living room and basement. We called several contractors with no response back or not interested in our project. I stumbled upon Mr. Contractor in a google search around my neighborhood. I left a message and it was returned within 48 hours. Kenny talked briefly with me about what I was looking to accomplish, met me in person to discuss the details, and promptly provided a price with timeline. Mr. Contractor provided excellent communication throughout the process. His framing crew worked effectively and efficiently with respect to my home and family. After framing was complete Nick and his team completed the electrical portion of the project within hours with the same care for my home, We chose to tile the framing and Isaac did a fantastic job. His patience and precision were notable. Rob, Alex, and the team came back to finish the mantel/TV mount, cleaned up my entire house, and left no loose ends. My expectations were far exceeded, my new fireplace and tv have become a focal point of the space, and I am completely satisfied. Mr. Contractor won’t be the cheapest or the most expensive in the market, but their value for craftsmanship, communication, respect, and personality is embedded in the company culture thus worth the price. "I have known David for many decades. He is a very intelligent person - EXTREMELY reliable and punctual (usually even early) He always does what he says he will do and when he says he will do it. You can count on him. He is very good at figuring out solutions to things and creative ways to do them. 
His prices are a bit higher than perhaps your average handyman - but, in life, you  usually get what you pay for. This particular ceiling job was worrisome - he got us custom matching paint and the result is perfect! He is completely trustworthy and completely licensed and insured. 
I am also a Realtor and have recommended him to many clients whom he has completed jobs for. They uniformly reported back to me how pleased they all were and one of them just referred him to her sister who is also very pleased. 
Calling him a "handyman" is a bit unfair - he is much more than that - closer to a general contractor as he can do large jobs and remodels also such as bathrooms and shower doors and such. He also owns a mirror and glass business and can do custom mirror and glass work also. "

"The install went great for both jobs - no issues with them.  The closet insert was a no brainier.  Converting the linen closet to a drawer / door storage unit didn't go as well.  My opinion is the sales person / estimator needed more experience.  We removed the door and frame and measured from the rough studs which was not plum but took the smallest measurement. After reviewing the drawing provided by the sales person some adjustments were made.  Bottom line was we should have measured the inside of the door frame and made a minor adjustment to account for a wider trim. on one side.  Live and learn. I'd recommend getting several estimates and use this company as such.  My wife pushed this to be completed and the sales person had a buy now price.  enough said.
