"So happy we found Inch by Inch Construction. Andy and his crew recently constructed an addition to expand our kitchen, make a workshop off of our basement and expand our deck. Each day they all arrived on time with a positive attitude and commitment to do quality work and leave the work areas clean and organized. We were never worried about them in the house while we were away. Everything they did was done professionally and to the highest quality. Their workmanship is exceptional. Very easy going and always available to answer any questions. Extremely helpful in that they made suggestions to make our project even better. Andy kept to the budget and the timeline. Inch by Inch even has their own designer. Danielle is amazing! Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. In fact, we trusted her so much that we left her design and choose everything for our kitchen. Our kitchen is a dream! We never imagined having a kitchen like we do now. Danielle is the Joanna Gaines of Lebanon! If you are looking for a reliable and honest team who takes pride in their work and truly values and respects their clients, then Inch by Inch is the company to call. If we ever have any future projects, we will be calling Andy once again."

"HW Wilson did a fantastic job repairing the roof on our shed after a tree fell on it. They came in on budget and didn't oversell the job. They looked for ways to save on costs while still completing the job well. We had them also come out to do an inspection and estimate on our house before we sold it to give us information after the buyers asked for a complete roof replacement. They saved us thousands of dollars by providing an estimate on only necessary repairs and the remaining life expectancy on the roof. I highly recommend their services."

"The entire job was meticulously performed from start to finish. It involved a high precision stone cutting. This company has a very hard working crew. They are dedicated and very kind. They cleaned up the construction site every day before they left. The machinery were covered and all the tools were put away. Bryan came often to supervise the job and give instructions. He communicated with me before, during and after the entire process. Bryan is also a very good adviser, he had elegant architectural ideas. He helped me to chose the materials and recommended the right plants and shrubs for the landscaping. I have and I will continue to recommend this company to neighbors, friends and family. I will use this company in the future again and again."

Your local electrical contractor for central Pa. Keeping your home, business, or shop safe and operating completely according to code. While also looking out for your bottom line, saving you money for things that you really want to spend your money and time on.

"After the circuit breaker panel in our garage failed and caught on fire, I contacted Dave Pringle to assess the damage. He was able to start on the project the following day and kept me updated on the progress he made, explaining various codes and how the components worked in the system when I had questions. I found him to be very knowledgeable and friendly in all our conversations. Dave went above and beyond to ensure our house was once again safe and functioning as it was prior to the fire. For the quality of his work and reasonable prices he charged, I would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical work you may have. 24 years of experience

We are a Christian, family owned business serving Lancaster, Lebanon and surrounding areas. We have been in business over 14 years and have over 25 years experience in excavating and paving.

"Initial dig went good, from there things went downhill. I talked with Carlisle Rubber about the MariDRI material used and Carlisle said a mastic calking (CCW 704 or CCW LM800XL) should be used under the (aluminum) termination strip at the top. I don't remember seeing anything like that being done, and Fahnestock never answered my question about this procedure. I also asked Carlisle if Fahnestock was an approved contractor for this material installation and they neither confirmed nor denyed my request. Fahnestock told me they don't do tamping in the backfill operation, which most others do. Backfill was a very quick & rough job in my opinion. In the rain right after work was completed still had damp blocks on the two walls. It has not rained that hard here since first month of completion, so I can't honestly say if this solved my problem. I paid fully the day of completion and had to request a paid invoice. I had quotes for a little more and am sorry I didn't go with a contractor who does this full time and not a part time fill in business."

FAQs for roof ice and snow removal projects in Elizabethville, PA

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

While it is possible to remove snow from your roof without a professional, we don’t recommend it. Accessing your roof can be a dangerous task; pair that with slippery ice and snow that can be heavy to move, and you have a very risky problem on your hands. This dangerous situation becomes more high-risk when there’s a snowstorm or your roof has a steep pitch. To ensure that everyone stays safe, be sure to call a roof snow removal specialist to complete this job with the proper tools and equipment.

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

Yes, some homeowners insurance policies cover roof damage caused by snow. However, these full or partial payouts can vary depending on the age of your roof and other related factors, like the overall condition it was in before the snowfall. It’s best to check with your specific homeowners insurance policy to determine snow damage coverage and exclusions.

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.
