"I signed up to have a modular log home built on an existing foundation. The builder had a number of specifications that needed to be met to get the foundation ready for the new house. I contacted 8 other companies, but no one could help me with my long list of tasks. When I finally got ahold of Highlander Waterproofing, I started by telling them I was a problem child. I listed all the work that needed to be done and Mike told me that nothing on my list sounded sounded scary. I got a couple of visits from Mario, the manager, and Mike, the senior engineer, and one of their senior job bosses. They were all knowledgeable, helpful, positive, and suggested that I use steel supports instead of concrete to save space. Work started in August when Dewey and JT started knocking off the top 2 courses of block. "The Gents" - Dewey (the job boss) Devon, Jimmy, Matt, and Dave - did wonderful work. Because of Murphy's Law, we had to knock some walls down and rebuild them because of bowing, and we ended up adding an internal French Drain. They set rebar, poured tons of concrete, dug footers, put up steel support beams, installed glass block windows, put down sill plates, and rebuilt the front where the garage doors will be. I cannot even begin to say how pleased I am with the work they did. And they were a lot of fun to boot! They let me video them daily, tease them mercilessly, and they had the good grace to laugh when my dog made off with their breakfast jerky. There is still some work to do when the house actually gets here in April - insulating the outside wall, backfilling, putting the sump pumps in, rebuilding the center wall, and digging footers for the porch. I have absolute confidence in Highlander Waterproofing and "The Gents." I would recommend them highly and with no reservations to anyone who needs foundation work. I will add to this post with the final pictures in April."

"In the last few years, we've been getting huge puddles of water all over our basement floor. Never happened before. Some stretched all the way across the floor. Took hours of work with a shop vac to suck it up and days for the floor to dry. In mid-September, we hired Once & Done Waterproofing. They had the lowest price and specialize in our kind of problem. Work was completed in just one day and very tidily done. Very hard-working crew. But it was a leap of faith waiting to see if that work would be successful. Didn't rain for weeks after the sump pump system was installed beneath our basement floor. Weâ ve now had two really heavy rains. The floor remained bone dry after each of them. A little bit of water still did come in at the base of the outside basement entrance, as expected, but it got no further than the drain they installed in the floor at the door. The real test may not come until next springâ s monsoon season. But so far, so good. Based on preliminary results, I would not hesitate to hire them."

"Sean and his assistant did a great job grading and seeding a new drain line I had installed last fall, repairing my patio wall and filling in behind the wall. They also took the excess dirt from grading and filled in an area in my yard that was low. They graded an seeded this extra area and included it in the original quote. After finishing the job they cleaned up everything. If I ever need any excavating ,grading or drain work done in the future I will call High Cause Construction. Jeremy and Burke Construction did this job in conjunction with Keith Overmeyer Construction. Work was delayed by the weather, but once we could get a few nice days in a row, the crew showed up and ripped off and carted away the old slate roof. With nothing underneath the slate, they completely sheathed the opening and put down ice and water barrier. The green metal took the longest to install, but the job was very well done. The crew was punctual, professional, and left the yard clean when they were finished. At the last minute I decided to add a front gutter and snow bar. They went up quickly except for one piece that had to be ordered. As of this writing, I am still waiting for them to install that last piece.

Added 5/2/15: Wrote this review, and a crew showed up a few days later to install the last piece on the snow bar. Finished! And, looking great. Just wish I didn't have to wait until I wrote a review to get the project finished.
