The business was run as a part time enterprise until the mid seventies. The founders’ two oldest sons built a full time full service tree co. The company was largely serving the residential tree care sector. The co was very innovative, bringing a number of firsts to the Greater Williamsport Area.

"Mike Trotta (the owner) came and removed my deck personally and was great to work with. He was prompt and reliable and had the deck removed and hauled off to the city dump by noon. His asking price was extremely reasonable and he was very quick and cleaned up all of the deck plus removed the anchoring beams even though they were concreted into the ground. I was extremely pleased and would recommend his company Viking Earthworks to anyone looking for similar services!"

"It's going to cost me thousands of dollars to repair the damage TruGreen has done to my property. There are large sections of my lawn where the grass is now completely gone as the result of improperly applying fertilizer and burning the grass. Before TruGreen my lawn was healthy and pothole free. I am also now dealing with a mosquito infestation. This after 7 treatments from TruGreen during 2022. Again, I never had this issue with my previous lawn care service. Avoid at all costs if you value your lawn."
