Jon arrived on time and spent a good bit of time looking all around the basement and attic, even performing a home leak test which revealed that our chimney's damper doesn't perform as it should (already called for service) and that the insulation in our attic is up to code. "Contacted Master Attic via Angi and Alex, the technician came to evaluate our attic and crawl space (2 separate spaces in our house). We heard critter noises and our upstairs was hot in the summer. The insulation was original to the ~30 year old house, so we know it's about time to get it done. Alex checked both spaces and showed us photos of problem areas. We have an estimate and Alex explained the details of the work involved. The team came within the week (we lucked out to take the spot of a cancellation), and everything was done as expected. There was a lot of work to remove old insulations, vacuum all debris, sanitize the space, seal all air gaps, install baffles, rodent proof, and install new insulation. The work was completed in around 6 hours, the spaces are now clean and tidy - quite unbelievable given how they were before. We went for the heavier insulation which is reflected in the project cost."

Office contacted employee on the road and he responded within 90 minutes. Came in, assessed the issue and proceeded to spray and then remove nest.  Did a little sweeping up of pieces dropped on the floor, but not a thorough job. Some bees were found the next morning and are still being found. Probably those who were not at home at the time of the process.  Left the removed insulation which could have contained more bees? Best thing I can say he came immediately and removed most of my concerns. There is a 60 day guarantee, so we will see if we need to call them back?

Sal is the sparkplug that makes it work seamlessly. He guides you in just what you need, and nothing you don't need. His estimates are detailed and very fair pricing. After consulting with Sal he was able to schedule the work in less than a week. The installation crew called ahead on the scheduled day and arrived exactly on time. Shawn led the crew of 4 techs who worked neatly and thoroughly, and cleaned up well. They did rim joist sealing and batt insulation in a somewhat complex situation where I have I joists adjoining the band board. They also did blown in fiberglass in the attic. For anyone considering insulation of any format I highly recommend Sal and Koala. And, the best part of this experience with the company....the total cost less than others who had rebate programs."

"We had a cracked ceiling and sagging ceilings in 3 rooms, and a portion of drywall hanging but off the nails, larry and his son, replaced the broken pieces and shored up the rest with drywall nails, and insulation, and in some cases new drywall. A dirty, difficult job, which had to be done two days in a row as it required furniture moved and painters to follow. He recommended a painter for us as well, which allowed us to set the whole thing up for one week of inconvenience, but got the job done. He and his son were pleasant as well which helped through this trying experience. Since this problem is uniform through our development we had seen where ceilings had caved in on others and were caving in slowly on the rest and wanted this done before anything fell down on us and hurt us or guest. Larry cut out two days to do 3 rooms, which allowed us to set the painter up for completion. We also had to bring in a electrician to shore up a ceiling fan now that the ceilings were set properly."
