On time, fast, clean, professional, great communication throughout the entire process.

Andrew came for an estimate the day after I called. His price for the job was about 2/3 of the quote from a competitor. His crew came about 2 weeks later (today) and did a great job. They were on time, worked quickly, did a thorough job, and didn't make a mess. I can already tell a difference in our upstairs. The bedroom above the garage was unliveable without a space heater previously.

It went very well. Jon arrived on time and spent a good bit of time looking all around the basement and attic, even performing a home leak test which revealed that our chimney's damper doesn't perform as it should (already called for service) and that the insulation in our attic is up to code. He made useful suggestions about potential upgrades to our HVAC and water heater, as well as our thermostat. He installed energy efficient light bulbs in the few lamps where we didn't already have them. All told: a very useful expenditure of time and limited funds (the state of DE covering 3/4s of the cost!

I had this work done a few years back (check my review from 9/17/2017) and wanted to provide a recent review for Jeff. He did such a great job that potential customers need to be reminded ( and NO I don't work for him, I'm just a very satisfied customer).

Some minor snafus common to very old houses, but overall went very well and (most important) I am now warm again!

Excellent don't have enough words to express how well the job was performed. I worked with Jeff Alligood through the whole process (home energy audit, appointment scheduling, pricing and work completion). Jeff gave name/telephone I could use as references. He was also available to answer and make suggest after the work had been completed.

Great! Jeff and his team were timely and professional. He was very knowledgeable and kept us abreast of findings as the job progressed.

They came out and performed the whole house energy audit (including a blower door test). He was fast, polite, helpful, and clear in his explanations. They wrote up a comprehensive summary complete with photos he took around the house and he created a very detailed write up on suggested improvements and multiple options on completing the goals.

Well, Infrared camera showed decent resolution and confirmed the envelope / insulation issues with my home.

Went well. Attic and basement as well as outside the home were investigated to determine likely causes of cold area problem. Inexpensive suggestions were offered as solutions.

I have to apologize. I thought I reviewed Alligood shortly after the work was done in mid 2015, but apparently messed-up. Jeff Alligood was a pleasure to work with...responsive, professional, and very willing to go the extra mile to help solve our problems. We had squirrels in the attic that trashed the insulation. We scheduled a new roof which included sealing up all the areas where the critters could get in. But then we had to deal with the unhealthy rodent mess. I called over a dozen insulation companies and none were willing to REMOVE insulation. Then I got hold of Jeff thru Angie's List. Not only did they remove all the old, but they also agreed to sanitize both attics. I purchased Odoban from Home Depot which eliminates mold and odors (highly recommended). Jeff's crew sprayed everything and then installed the ducts and insulation. Jeff coordinated the removal and installation to coincide with the roofers so that access could be thru the roof ( which was the only way to access the attic). It all went like clockwork, His team stayed late (7PM+) to insure all was done and the roof sealed up for the night. Before they left they cleaned up so there was no sign they had been working on the house the entire day. Everything was 'All (i) Good' !!! I highly recommend Alligood Energy...!

The work was done quickly and well-- Jeff and his assistant (also named Jeff) were prompt, efficient and cleanly. (The only matter, minor at best, was that Jeff Alligood seemed to be So Busy that when we were in the set up phase, over the course of a couple of weeks, he seemed to need his questions answered a few times for hIm to get my answers down.) But, in the end, all told, a great job! I am looking forward to the energy saving and already enjoying the increased quiet the insulation has provided. THANKS, Jeff and Jeff!

Shortly after I purchased the audit online I got a call from Jeff Alligood. He was able to come out the next morning, and spent about 30 min at my home, checking the attics and the rooms with temperature problems. He told me he'd have an estimate for insulation and sealing the attics and other things in the next few days. After about 4 days he sent me an email saying he didn't forget about me, just was visiting his grandmother. Never heard from him again, and it's been over 3 weeks. Though he was responsive and friendly, no follow through is unprofessional, and crosses him off my list of recommended service providers.

Unfortunately, I ran into some unforeseen financial difficulties and have not been able to have the insulating work performed yet. The technician was prompt, polite and professional.

The work was done within days and our place was neat as a pin when they left. We have noticed a big difference in our home's temperature as a result of their great work.

It went well. A big problem was not being allowed in the house for 4 hours while the fumes dissipated. I was fortunate that it wasn't a real cold day so I took me dog for an extended walk.

About two months ago, Matt Alligood came out for an energy audit. We were not new to the potential as we had our previous house done. It was an easy sell since I knew the insulation did not make it over the rafters. There was absolutely no pressure to move forward. Matt's is very easy going. We communicated back and forth for two months as I had to reschedule twice as I needed some electrical work done and had a tough go finding someone who was able to get the job done. The whole time Matt remained easy going. When I suggested chances, he was easy going. I think Matt over delivered. And was patient. His crew did one of the best clean ip jobs as I didnt notice a thing. Matt and his team were easy to work with. I would recommend them. Our top floor is no longer miserably out of temperature with our first floor.
