"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Leveling was done well and at a reasonable price. It took a bit more mud (6 tons instead of the 4 that was estimated), but that's life. I was surprised that the estimate did not include sealing of floor cracks, but we took care of that on another work order. That sealing was thorough and fairly priced, but not exactly cosmetic. We may need to add a top coating for that."

"They repaired the roof and the gutter on the side of the house. They were very professional and very quick to answer any questions I had. They made sure I was happy with the job before they left. Can't wait to use them again for the inside repairs!"

"Highlander exceeded my expectations! Mr. Kevin Adams (Senior Inspector), did a thorough assessment of my basement and garage needs, clearly answered all my questions and proposed an easy to understand solution in writing. Mr. Cameron Shoemaker (Customer Care) made me feel like I was his most important customer ever. He kept me informed throughout the entire project and gladly worked with me when I had to postpone the start date of my project due to personal reasons. Wesley (Foreman) and his crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly to get the job done right and on time. When I brought up a couple of concerns at the end of the project, they quickly and without hesitation did what needed to be done to keep me satisfied. Great company and people who are 100% customer oriented!"

"Everdry basement waterproofing service made the most sence to me when meeting with a couple different waterproofing companies ,not one wanted to fix the whole problem , they only wanted to do slight fixes which in the long run wouldn't have fixed our basement flooding during heavey rains , Everday came out , explained what they would do and even though it is expensive to have the whole house done in the long run for trying to sell your home this is woth much more than other improvvements , havent has any water problems since having this done"

"Adam, from Waterproofing One, came to my home this morning. He was generous with his time while I slowed his progress to ask questions. He listened to me and evaluated my house inside and out. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He offered me clear answers to all my questions, and was very forthright in discussing the financial end of the work required. He could not have been more accommodating and did nothing to cause me any stress. In the end, I was not able to afford the work at this time, but that is not because it was an unreasonable quote. I was just totally unaware of the costs involved with what I was asking. He was very kind and did not pressure me in any way. I will certainly call Adam again when I am in a better financial position to tackle this problem. I could not have asked for a better person to show up at my door today!"

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking is your best bet for leveling concrete on a tighter budget. It’s less expensive than foam or grout mixture. For smaller, surface-level issues, you could also use a self-leveling compound, which creates an even surface over existing concrete—it’s a budget-friendly option suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

It’s best not to perform mudjacking in the winter unless the ground temperature remains above freezing. Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity. Concrete is also more susceptible to cracking and splitting in cold temperatures, so there’s a higher risk of damaging the slab during the drilling and lifting process in winter.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.
